Capital One has added a statement credit towards TSA PreCheck or Global Entry as a benefit to holders of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card as of June 12, 2018. Depending on the program you will receive (actual cost of enrollment) the following statement credit:
- $100 rebate on Global Entry enrollment fee
- $85 rebate on TSA PreCheck enrollment fee
Cards with Enrollment Credits
There are many credit cards that provide a statement credit towards the cost of enrollment in TSA PreCheck. These include some of the premium cards on the market like the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, The Platinum Card® from American Express, and the Citi Prestige® Card. The frequency of the statement credit varies with each card but is typically every 4 to 5 years.
Our Take
The addition of a rebate is a great addition to the Capital One Venture, which already has an impressive list of perks and benefits. On top of the 75,000-mile signup bonus after meeting minimum spending requirements, the Capital One Venture card earns 2X on everything else.

Time to pull the trigger on Cap. One since I new to renew Global Entry!
Another great benefit from an all around good card. My go to when it fits no categories
Finally a card adding benefits instead of removing them (hint: CSR) 🙂
hehe.
I have this through another card, so I’ll give this to a friend.
Please do! And tell your friends that they can share their credits as well. Hate to have them go to waste.
I see that there’s a Chase MileagePlus Explorer card now that just added this benefit also (sign up bonus of 40,000 mile bonus and a $100 statement credit). I wonder if there will be an increased Venture Card sign up bonus offer, as there hasn’t been one for a long time. Someone in my building got a 60,000 offer (it must have been put in the wrong box)., so I’m waiting.
great to see another card with TSA benefits! Thanks!
Would that be much a perk when everyone will be using it eventually?
People are lazy — it’ll continue to be worth it for a long time I think.
This is great news as more and more cards offer this perk. Curious though as to why some cards offer TSA/GE every 4 years while some 5 years?
