Chase’s partnership with Lyft has long offered bonus points or cash back on rides booked through the Lyft app. This partnership was originally set to end today, March 31, 2025. However, Chase and Lyft have come together to extend their partnership through September 2027 — with new benefits on offer for select cardholders.

Here's what's new with the Chase–Lyft partnership and all the benefits you have because of it.

Lyft Benefits Available Through Chase Credit Cards

If you have a Chase credit card (that's not co-branded), you've got Lyft benefits. Depending on the card, that might mean bonus points or cash back on Lyft rides — or even a monthly in-app credit. Here’s a quick overview of the Lyft benefits available through various Chase credit cards.

New in-app Lyft credits

As part of this partnership extension, Chase and Lyft have added a $10 monthly in-app credit for Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve card holders. Each month, you can apply this credit to rides booked through the Lyft app.

If you use the credit every month, that’s up to $120 in extra value you can get from both cards — with no increase to their respective annual fees!

Bonus points or cash back on Lyft rides

One of the main benefits of the Chase–Lyft partnership is the bonus points or cash back you can earn on Lyft rides. Here’s a breakdown of the promotional earning rates by card family — but just remember these are total earning rates, not bonuses on top of your usual earnings:

How to Activate Your Chase–Lyft Cardholder Benefits

Activating your Lyft benefits is quick and easy. Just open the Lyft app and go to the “You” tab, then tap “Payment.” Here, you can add your eligible Chase card as a payment method.

Once added, you’ll see your Chase card listed under “Payment methods,” along with any benefits available to you.

Final Thoughts

If you prefer Lyft over Uber, it’s worth carrying a Chase credit card that helps you maximize every dollar you spend on rideshare. Through September 2027, you can earn up to 5X total Ultimate Rewards points or 5% cash back on Lyft rides — and leverage a $10 monthly in-app credit if you have the right premium card. This partnership is pretty rewarding, and we're glad to see it stick around.
