UPDATE: The Fairmont Visa Signature® Card is no longer accepting new applications. You can find the best current offers on the Hot Deals page.

The Chase Fairmont Visa Signature® card is perfect for fans of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and allows cardholders to receive exclusive discounts and perks, as well as accumulate points quickly and easily. Here are some of the fantastic features available to cardholders.

Terrific Sign On Bonus

With the Fairmont Visa Signature® card, you earn 2 Complimentary Nights after you make $3,000 in purchases within your first 3 months of account opening. This is a huge bonus that can easily be worth $1,500 if you redeem your two free certificates at a premium location.

No Annual Fee for First Year

Yes, you get those two complimentary nights with $0 introductory annual fee the first year. There is an annual fee of $95 after the first year.

Keep Earning Complimentary Nights

After earning your first two complimentary nights, you can continue to earn a free stay certificate annually when you spend $12,000 per year on the Fairmont Visa Signature® card. Again, for those who use the card for their regular purchases, this is an achievable target.

Increase to Platinum Status

You will earn 1 credit toward Platinum Status after spending $7,500 on your card. You can earn up to two stay credits per year, which will help you move from Premier Status, which you receive automatically upon approval of your account, to Platinum Status, which earns you special perks and rewards. If you are already a Premier (you are just for holding the card) or Platinum member, you receive upgrades such as dining certificates when you stay at Fairmont hotels.

Build Up Fairmont Rewards Quickly

Not only will you receive complimentary nights at Fairmont Hotels on account anniversary (if minimum spend is met) and as a signup bonus, you will earn Fairmont Rewards with every purchase you make. You earn 5 points for every $1 that you spend at Fairmont using the card, 2 points for every dollar spent on airline purchases, car rentals, transit purchases, and commuting charges, and 1 point for every dollar spent elsewhere in all other categories.

Great for International Travel

Because the Chase Fairmont credit card has no foreign transaction fees, it's a great choice for international travel. Standard reward rates apply for any international purchases using the card.

Conclusion

While Fairmont doesn't offer the same number of destinations as some co-branded cards, its destinations are as exclusive and unique as they get. Fairmont Hotels and Resorts offer luxury stays on a global level. With the Fairmont Visa Signature® card, you can quickly earn rewards like complimentary nights at any Fairmont hotel. For fans of Fairmont properties, and those wanting the flexibility of so many luxury destinations, this is a great card.
