Earn 75,000 Bonus Miles With the Citi AAdvantage Business Card
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card is currently offering new applicants 75,000 bonus miles after you or employees spend $4,000 in purchases within the first 4 months of account opening.
American Airlines miles are incredibly valuable, and you can stretch this welcome offer to the max by taking advantage of one of the many AAdvantage sweet spots — including Japan Airlines business class to Tokyo, Qatar Airways Qsuites, ultra-cheap U.S. domestic flights, and more.

Since you cannot transfer miles to American AAdvantage from flexible points currencies, leveraging an elevated credit card offer (like this one) is the easiest way to accumulate American miles.
Citi AAdvantage Business Card feature benefits
Outside of the welcome bonus, the Citi AAdvantage Business Card comes with several long-term benefits, including:
- Annual fee of $99, waived for first 12 months.
- Free first checked bag when flying with American Airlines or its subsidiaries on domestic itineraries, valid for you and up to four companions on the same reservation.
- Priority boarding.
- 25% discount on inflight food, beverage, and Wi-Fi purchases.
- Earn a companion ticket each year in which you spend $30,000 or more on purchases with your card. Redeeming the certificate costs $99 for the ticketing fee plus taxes and fees.
- Earn 2 AAdvantage® miles on eligible American Airlines purchases, plus 2 miles on purchases at telecommunications merchants, cable and satellite providers, car rental merchants, and at gas stations, plus earn 1 mile per $1 spent on other purchases.
- Earn Loyalty Points towards American Airlines elite status from spending on the card.

Citi AAdvantage Business Card Application Restrictions
You aren't eligible for this bonus if you received a bonus on the Citi AAdvantage Business Card in the past 48 months, including when it had a slightly different name. From the offer terms:
“American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® or Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® account in the past 48 months. The card offer referenced in this communication is only available to individuals who reside in the United States and its territories, excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.”
Thus, if you had this card recently and received a bonus within the past 48 months, you won't be eligible for this welcome offer. However, you could consider other American Airlines credit cards in the meantime. Moreover, Citi doesn't tend to approve anyone for more than one business card in a 90-day period.

Our Take
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card provides a quality slate of benefits, and you'll get a full year to enjoy those benefits before the ongoing $99 annual fee kicks in. No matter where you want to go, there's a great chance AAdvantage miles can get you there — and the current offer of 75,000 should give you a fantastic incentive to apply.
