Book through August 4, 2016, for travel between September 7 and November 16, 2016 (Blackout dates 10/6 – 10/16/16). As the TrueBlue program is revenue based, this is one of the few opportunities members have to take advantage of reduced award fares, with all eligible award flights automatically reduced by 25%. As per the JetBlue website.

It's worth noting too that if you hold the JetBlue Plus Card, you get 10% of your points back every time you redeem, and these deals will stack. In the example below, during the promotion period, you will pay 3,000 TrueBlue points + $5.60 in taxes and fees for a flight between Boston, MA (BOS) – Washington-Dulles, DC (IAD) and as a JetBlue Plus Card cardholder, you'll receive an extra 300 points back.

Final Thoughts
As a revenue-based program, award sales are one of the only times you can leverage extra value out of TrueBlue. So if you have a flight in the works, now is the time to book. Note that all flights must be booked by August 4, 2016, this is a time sensitive sale, and if you have the JetBlue Plus Card, remember to factor in the additional 10% rebate on award redemptions when calculating the total cost of your flights.
