Priority Pass has added Johnny Rockets at Syracuse Hancock International SYR to its network of restaurants. This addition expands not only Priority Pass’s network of lounges and restaurants but also airports, since the Johnny Rockets will be the first and only facility at Syracuse Hancock International to date.

Our Take

It is excellent to see Priority Pass expanding its network of restaurants and airports (see the complete list of Priority Pass restaurants). With Johnny Rockets being airside you can get to the airport a little early, clear security, have a meal and relax before your flight.

  • I think its a fantastic perk for PP members, not just this restaurant of course but the whole program for restaurant involvement. It increases the value of my CC. Thanks’ for the update.

  • @sean says: “SFO seriously needs to offer some Priority pass eligible restaurants. Only 1 priority pass lounge in the whole airport and not even connected airside to all the other terminals.”

Agree. Same can be said for many airports, so hopefully this model is successful for Priority Pass and they continue to roll out restaurant partners.

  • PP is a cool thing to have in one’s arsenal when schlepping through airports, and here’s just another reason why.

  • SFO seriously needs to offer some Priority pass eligible restaurants. Only 1 priority pass lounge in the whole airport and not even connected airside to all the other terminals.

  • Looks like they added some international ones too. They seem to have a list on their website a list of newly added lounges. That’s nice.
I wonder how they pick the restaurants? I can’t find it on their website, but maybe that’s because I’m not a member. I know they say they provider the best service but of course they cannot guarantee service lounges and restaurants. So I wonder if they look at the best reviewed places or their own review after they’ve sent their own ppl to try out a place.

  • Logan Fisher says:

Perfect timing! I’ll be flying to SYR two weeks from now. I’ll give a report on how it goes.

  • Thats a lot of burgers for 28 per person.

  • Barney’s Beanery at LAX is another exciting addition

  • The addition of restaurants to Priority Pass is great since in my experience it’s rare to get a solid meal at a lounge. I usually feel like I have pieced together a bit of this and a bit of that and never really satisfied.

  • Free food is always a plus. Hope the options keep on expanding.

  • One of the great mostly unknown benefits of Priority Pass – though the blog boys are catching on!

  • This is new to me! I did not know you could go to restaurants with Priority Pass, I have only ever used it for lounges! I wanted to use PP last week in LTN airport, but the lounge was full 🙁

  • Maryjane says:

Even at airport prices, 28 dollars buys a decent amount of burgers and shakes. It’s always great to see more options, especially at an airport that previously had no Priority Pass perks.

  • Not a bad idea. Do other airports have a similar setup?

  • Charles J says:

Interesting. I didn’t even know that this type of arrangement (outside of airport lounge membership/admittance/reimbursement) even existed.

  • I prefer the Priority Pass restaurants over lounges.

  • Thanks for the answer.
So I hope you will continue to update the list of the restaurants available with Priority Pass.

  • beppoello81 says:

Excellent, I would rather go to a restaurant than to an overcrowded lounge.

  • Maryjane says:

I agree that it’s a very generous benefit. Even at airport prices, 28 dollars at a burger place goes a long way. It’s always great to see expansion like this.

  • Amazing! SYR has pretty much zilch when it comes to food options. PP affiliation to the Johnny Rockets there is a welcome surprise!

  • Michaelj1 says:

I used Priority Pass at at a Bobby Van’s restaurant at JFK American Airlines terminal 8 , received great value, good service and a nice reception.

  • That’s pretty awesome. I remember when SYR used to have a USAir Club!! Let’s hope more restaurants participate, but I honestly cannot understand PP’s business model. Surely, more people are taking advantage of these perks to outweigh the cost. But, then again, what do I know?!

    • We definitely don’t know how the credit card companies reimburse Priority Pass and how Priority Pass reimburses each of these locations. For any of us that travel a ton, it is a losing proposition, but I think most people rarely use the benefit.

  • Same here… love this great novel addition.

  • Ok you sold me with the milkshakes…

  • Great addition. Sometimes you just need a good burger and fries!

  • Great! I haven’t had a chance to use this benefit anywhere yet, but looking forward to it. It’s a very generous benefit.

  • I love Johnny Rockets!!!

    Great Addition.

  • Agree — the more the merrier.

  • Got to agree with above, any additions even if its burgers are a welcome addition.

  • it’s great that PP is adding restaurants… now I know where to get a cheeseburger and a shake during my travels

  • Jacqueline says:

I’m all up for more being added even if its for quick bites.

  • Arvin Bautista says:

As long as PP keeps adding venues, it’ll always be good news (mainly cause it lowers overcrowding at lounges). Hope it continues to be a moneymaker for these food venues!

  • The more the merrier. Not going to seek it out, but a quick bite is nice.

  • I have seen your link with the complete list of Priority Pass restaurants and I see that the list of restaurants available with Priority Pass is expanding.
Does it exist an official link provided by Priority Pass?
