I'm not saying this is the best Hilton news ever, but we can finally report on a positive change that is long overdue: Hilton has joined the 21st century and added the ability to see your Free Night Rewards on its website and in the mobile app. In addition to this news, Hilton has extended (again!) the validity of these free night certificates. The Hilton Free Night Reward is one of the best free hotel nights awards on the market. It's extremely flexible, is uncapped, and has few restrictions. In fact, you can use these certificates at the majority of Hilton's most luxurious properties.
You can earn these free night certificates when you signup and/or meet a spending threshold with various co-branded Hilton credit cards from American Express. Specifically, you can earn Free Night Rewards through the following Hilton cards:

How to See Your Free Night Rewards
Finding your available rewards is simple. First, login to your Hilton Honors account. Once logged in, you will be taken to your account's main landing page. Just scroll to the bottom of the page, and your certificates should be listed there. That's it!
On this page, you can see how many certificates you have available and how many have been used. Hilton will also show you the certificates that have been allocated to an upcoming stay. Best of all, you can see when your Hilton free night certificates expire. You also can see the details for your Free Night Rewards in the mobile app now.
Prior to this new feature, you would have to call in and ask a representative to find this information for you. Call times always seem to be “longer than expected,” so this is a massive improvement.
Unfortunately, you still have to call Hilton to actually use your certificate. In the U.S., you can reach Hilton at 1-800-446-6677. Elsewhere, you can find your local contact number here.
Final Thoughts
This is a big improvement to Hilton free night certificates (technically “Free Night Rewards”). The obvious next step (if Hilton cares about improving its customers' booking experience) is to make it easy to redeem these certificates online.
