Cardholders of the The World of Hyatt Credit Card can earn up to 5,000 bonus points by using your card in February 2021. That's enough bonus points for a free night at Hyatt Category 1 hotels.
This unique promotion is based on how many transactions you make on your World of Hyatt Card during the month of February. Cardholders will earn 1,000 bonus points for making 10 transactions, plus another 1,500 bonus points (for a total of 2,500 bonus points) once you reach 25 transactions. If you hit 50 transactions in the month, you'll get another 2,500 bonus points. That's a total bonus of 5,000 points if you make 50+ transactions:

Note that Hyatt is offering this promotion directly. So, you won't see these bonus points reflected on your Chase credit card statement. Also, Chase representatives may not be aware of this promotion if you try to contact them with questions.
Cardholders of the discontinued The Hyatt Credit Card can use their card to make purchases while waiting on their new World of Hyatt Card.
Our Thoughts
This promotion can be quite generous depending on your spending patterns. Qualifying purchases can be as small as $1. That means cardholders can spend as little as $50 to earn 5,000 bonus points. That's potentially an incredible 100X bonus points on top of the points you'd otherwise earn from the purchase.
Don't forget that Hyatt is also continuing to offer its Bonus Journeys promotion. If you registered by January 15, 2021, cardholders of the World of Hyatt Card will earn quadruple (4X) points on paid stays and a 25% points rebate on award stays through February 28, 2021.
If you need even more Hyatt points for an upcoming redemption, Hyatt is currently selling Hyatt points with a 30% bonus. That drops the price to effectively 1.85¢ per point. That's one of the better purchase rates that we've seen. Still, it's always better to earn Hyatt points for free — like through this credit card spending promotion.
Is this promotion enough for you to use your World of Hyatt Card for all purchases in February?

Any idea about whether meeting the promotion requirements in Feb, but closing the card in March to avoid the annual fee, would result in the 5000 points being forfeited? The Hyatt offer page no longer shows the promo terms. Thanks.
On timing, the terms only stated “Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after the last day of the promotional period for Bonus Points to post to your World of Hyatt account.” There isn’t an explicit clawback provision. But, there could be general card terms that Chase could point to.
Incredibly easy to achieve bonus! This and a bunch more Amex dining credits on co-brand cards dropped today. Free money and points all around!
I’ve had my Hyatt card since 2018 and have gotten so much value from the card and their promotions. Easy keeper card.
This promotion makes me wish I had the Hyatt card. I have seen discussion on other blogs of how to accomplish this (above and beyond the normal purchases. Amazon gift card reloads has been one suggestion. I find when I want to maximize the number of purchases I make for this type of thing, I go do my shopping at a store that has self checkout. I can then make each item a new transaction without really annoying anyone else.
This is an interesting promo. I find it more interesting that Hyatt itself is offering this. It’s a clever way to get people to get their Hyatt card to pop into people’s mind first for a little while. I think this is an out of the box idea to get card holders to boost their points and then maybe want to stay at a Hyatt to get more points.
with a little dedication and discipline it is even quite easy to get the 5000 bonus. great offer. thanks.
Thanks for the great info! Guess they want us to use mostly Hyatt card in Feb. Hyatt does have better oversea property locations than Marriott.
Just reload your Amazon gift card $1 X 50.
Hyatt seriously killing it with the promos these days!
Awesome! Sounds like pretty easy requirements to meet.
Hyatt is really getting busy with promotions recently. It is great to earn points without buying them.
This is a very generous offer from Hyatt. Hoping for a match from Marriott.
Wish they would have had a promo like this before I cancelled my card last month!
Signed up. Thank you. Now I just need to do 50 transactions on my card.
Awesome appreciate your tips, this is a super easy way to get points!
Thanks. I signed up. Strange to have bonus based on number of transactions instead of $, but I’ll try to do this the whole of February.
It is easy to make 50 purchases at CVS, Walgreen, Chipotle, etc.
I like cards like this that tie bonus points to transactions instead of actual dollar spent. I use my cards a lot but don’t always reach the dollar threshold.
Thanks, never got an email about this one for some reason
This promotion was just announced this morning. So, hopefully you’ll get an email about it soon.
