Earn Up to 115k Points With the Aeroplan Card
The Aeroplan Card is currently offering a new welcome offer that can jumpstart your account for travel in the year ahead. New Cardmembers can earn up to 115,000 bonus points – 75,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open, plus 40,000 bonus points after you spend $20,000 in the first 12 months your account is open. This is the biggest offer we’ve ever seen on the card!

What is the Aeroplan Card‘s welcome offer worth?
Based on the average redemption rate AwardWallet users have gotten from Aeroplan points, 115,000 points are worth around $2,140 toward award flights. From premium cabin redemptions to short hops in the U.S. and abroad, there are plenty of ways to put this bonus to work.
Aeroplan points can be used on nearly 50 airlines. Beyond Air Canada, you can book award flights with United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, regional carriers within Canada, Emirates, and many others. You can also stretch your points further by adding a cheap stopover.
Or, if award flights aren't your speed, you can redeem your points at 1.25¢ each toward recent travel purchases using Pay Yourself Back, which has been extended through December 31, 2026. That redemption option makes the offer worth over $1,400 toward paid travel.

Our Take
The current welcome bonus on the Aeroplan Card isn't overly flashy, but the spending requirement is much lower than what we’ve seen with previous offers. That makes it worth a look if you’re short on Aeroplan points but don’t want a card with a massive spending requirement.
Beyond the bonus, the card includes valuable perks that can make it worth keeping long term. Aeroplan elite status, free checked bags, and built-in travel insurance can easily offset the $195 annual fee year after year.
