Marriott just launched its new March Madness promotion, creatively called “Points for Points.” A total of 134 lucky Bonvoy members will earn one Bonvoy point for every point scored across all 134 March Madness games. Here’s how to register.
Marriott March Madness Points for Points Promotion
As the official hotel partner of the NCAA, Marriott is leaning into March Madness — the annual playoffs for men’s and women’s college basketball. Without favoring any one team, Marriott Bonvoy is giving 134 Bonvoy members the chance to win one Bonvoy point for every point scored throughout all 134 March Madness games.
How to enter
All you have to do is register by March 27, 2025, for your shot at earning points. No purchase is necessary, and staying at a Marriott won’t increase your chances of winning. Once registration closes, Marriott will randomly select 134 winners to rack up points based on the total points scored in the tournament.
Historically, each March Madness game sees about 144 points scored, which means winners can expect to earn around 20,000 bonus Bonvoy points. AwardWallet users generally redeem Bonvoy points at 0.94¢ cents each, so that’s roughly $188 worth of bonus points — though Marriott officially values the prize at $250.

Bid on Premium March Madness Final Four Tickets
Marriott Bonvoy members can also bid on premium tickets for the March Madness Final Four games. These are available through Marriott Bonvoy Moments between March 14 and 21, 2025.
Eight packages, four of each of the following experiences, are available for bidding. Bidding for the men's packages starts at 500,000 points, and bidding on the women's packages starts at 322,500 points.
Men's Final Four VIP experience
- Access to an exclusive back-of-house tour in the Alamodome
- Final Four weekend VIP events
- Lower bowl tickets to the semi-final and championship with in-stadium VIP hospitality
- A four-night stay at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter on the River Walk

- Access to an exclusive back-of-house tour of Amalie Arena
- Courtside seats to the semi-final and championship

This promotion is quite rewarding for 134 Marriott Bonvoy members. While the offer supports the NCAA March Madness, you don't have to be a fan of college basketball to enter. Of course, if you are a fan, cheer on your favorite team(s) to score as much as possible. The more they win, the more you win.
