Qatar Airways and Accor Live Limitless have a new promotion offering a 30% bonus when you convert Avios to Accor points. The promotion is valid for conversions through March 26, 2024.
Qatar Airways is one of multiple airlines partnering with Accor, and the typical conversion rate is 4,500 Avios to 1,000 Accor points. With this offer, you'll get 1,300 Accor points in the end. But is it worth it?
Key Terms of Qatar to Accor Conversion Bonus
- Receive a 30% bonus when you transfer Qatar Avios to Accor ALL points.

- Allow up to six weeks for the bonus points to show in your account.

Is This a Good Deal?
In a nutshell, not really. Even with a 30% transfer bonus, your Avios can be worth more than Accor points. Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points have a fixed value. 2,000 points are always worth 40 euros — no more, no less. With the current exchange rate (1 EUR = 1.09 USD), each Accor point is worth about 2.17¢ in USD. That could look pretty good at first glance — until you see that AwardWallet users typically redeem Avios at 3.03¢ each. Adding 30% to the value of Accor points still doesn't hit this mark.
Then, there are the other factors to consider. You could use Qatar Avios to book a business- or first-class flight that could fetch 6¢ or more for your Avios. Can you increase the value of Accor points on high-value redemptions? No.
That being said, if you are flush with Avios and need some Accor points for an upcoming stay, some people may find this current point conversion bonus valuable.
Our Take
This isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. AwardWallet users typically redeem Avios at an average value that's higher than what you can get for Accor points, bonus or not. Beyond that, the fixed value of Accor points means you can't stretch them for outsized redemptions the way you can with Avios.
That means you're probably best keeping your Avios as Avios and not sending them to Accor. Also, it's worth remembering that you can move Avios freely between Qatar Airways, British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Iberia; that could be useful if you've got Avios in one program and want to move them to another — or if you've got Avios in a different program and want to move them to Qatar for this conversion bonus.
