Is this A Good Deal?
Absolutely. Arguably, this is one of the best points purchase deals you will ever see. Purchasing 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points for $8.88 works out to an unbelievably cheap 0.0592 cents per point. At first glance, that may seem “so what, that looks like half a cent per point!” But it is far and away from that. At this rate, one US cent will buy you approximately 17 points. That's a mind-bogglingly good value!

Yep! The “$8.88 night” is fulfilled as 15k Wyndham points that you should be able to use for any Wyndham redemption you wish.
According to the promotion it is only good for redeeming at participating Super 8s. I was wondering how they would distinct that in points.
Thanks for pointing that out. That term wasn’t included in the advanced materials we received. I clarified this with a Wyndham contact who said: “There are no restrictions with the deposited points, which are redeemable across the portfolio as normal WR points. That said, the points will go the furthest with Super 8 which has select hotels available for 7,500 points/night (i.e. two nights for 15k).”
