Citi has announced a sweepstake awarding one lucky winner 1,000,000 Citi ThankYou Points. Second and third place 100,000 or 500,000 point prizes are also available. If you are eligible, you need to apply for the promotion by August 31, 2018.

Key Terms

  • You need to enter the sweepstakes by August 31, 2018
  • The winners’ draw will be held on September 14, 2018
  • You must be a Citi ThankYou Rewards member prior to July 31, 2018
  • The promotion is open to residents of all 50 states, DC, and other US territories, who are over 18 years of age
  • You are limited to 1 entry per account
  • Non-resident aliens are ineligible

There are 3 levels of winners:

  • 10 winners will each receive 100,000 Citi ThankYou points
  • 3 winners will each receive 500,000 Citi ThankYou points
  • 1 winner will receive 1,000,000 Citi ThankYou points

The Citi ThankYou Rewards program can be quite valuable with a slew of airline transfer partners. Unfortunately, Citi has no hotel transfer partners, which isn't an issue as transferring flexible travel rewards to hotels tends to be a relatively poor value (Hyatt would be a known exception with Chase Ultimate Rewards)
