If you haven't used Vacations by Marriott yet, now might be a good time to start. An ongoing promotion lets travelers earn 10,000 bonus points on packages booked before May 31, 2023. To qualify, you must book a package that includes round-trip airfare and at least three consecutive nights at any Marriott property. Travel must be completed before August 15, 2023. Here are the full details of this Vacations by Marriott promotion.

Vacations by Marriott 10,000 Bonus Points Promotion

Vacations by Marriott 10,000 Points Promotion

If you're unfamiliar with it, Vacations by Marriott is a platform where you can book hotel + flight, hotel + car, or hotel + flight + car packages. It saves the time of booking hotels and flights separately. Plus, you'll earn Bonvoy points on your entire package. The platform is powered by Expedia. However, unlike booking directly with Expedia, you will be able to earn bonus Marriott points on these packages.

Currently, Bonvoy members can earn 10,000 bonus points by booking a Vacations by Marriott package of at least three nights. To qualify, you have to book your trip by May 31, 2023, and complete your travels by August 15, 2023.

The promotion doesn't limit where in the world you can travel, and no minimum spend is listed in the terms and conditions. The only restrictions are that your trip must include round-trip airfare and 3+ nights of accommodations. This is a little different from the last promotion, which gave 15,000 bonus points on a 4+ night stay.

Not all packages come with 10,000 bonus points. Make sure to look for the green promotion banner on the package if you want to claim the bonus points.

Terms and Conditions

  • Reservations must be made by May 31, 2023.
  • Travel must be completed by August 15, 2023.
  • Three or more nights must be consecutive.
  • Bonus points will post to accounts within 1-2 weeks after the checkout date.
  • This promotion is available “at all Marriott International properties.”
  • Bonus points are in addition to base points earned.

Our Take

We believe that this is a decent promotion to take advantage of. Marriott Bonvoy points currently have an average valuation of 0.95¢ each. In short, that means you're essentially getting $100 in bonus points back on your Vacations by Marriott package.

Vacations by Marriott Packages

Vacations by Marriott packages have some great rates, although not all packages have the summer offer for 10,000 bonus points. For example, you can purchase a 3-night vacation in Orlando, flying from New York for under $418. Just the bonus points earned through this promotion would net you over 35% back on your trip. This is on top of the base points that you'll earn and the airline miles that you'll earn on the flights.

Vacations by Marriott Packages #2

Another example is a 5-night stay in Costa Rica with airfare for as little as $863 per person.

We always prefer to redeem points and miles for trips. However, this promotion can earn you a solid amount of bonus Bonvoy points if you're planning to book a paid trip.

Have you ever used Vacations by Marriott? Would you take advantage of this promotion?
