Our Take
While there is no guarantee you will win, this promo is definitely worth 30 seconds of your time to enroll, whether you live in California or not. At worst, you lose 30 seconds of time; at best, you become a points millionaire.

Ditto what Preppy posted.
I won 1000 points in the California Millions spin and instant win game.
nice!!!! Every point helps.
Of course I religiously spin the wheel on these and never win, my girlfriend wins 5K miles in her own account, up from zero, vs me with her as my companion pass partner. Such is life I guess. 🙂
I’ve never had a bad experience with Southwest so will definitely enter.
There’s a very good reason why they continue to be number 1!
I play every day and have never won 🙁
Do you understand how SW points are valued?
Yes, indeed. Is there a question I can help answer?
Thanks for the heads up!
It’s always worth registering , and I learned something about a company I wasn’t aware of. Thanks. Hope I win.
Just signed up, spun the wheel, and netted 2500 bonus points just like that!
WHOA!! THX!
I’ve already entered the 100K. Just took a couple of seconds and nothing lost if I don’t win. Lucky people who live in CA! Clearly no love here in Dallas :o(
Love Southwest so I am definitely entering.
I’ve yet to see an explanation of the rationale for SWA focusing so much attention on CA of late…what gives?
signed up, thank you!
Wish I could win this!
That tax burden on the 100,000 points would be crazy, but thankfully we have the companion pass and can maximize the travel. Entered!
Thanks, just registered!
I will thank you when I win the big prize! Thanks!
Thanks, I just registered.
Yep – seen the T&C’s too – thanks anyway!
Wish I was from California
30 seconds is a little time for a possible large recovery.
Been spinning the prize wheel but no luck so far.
On a day about the luck of the Irish, good luck to all who enter!
The website keeps overloading and I keep forgetting to recheck!
Sounds great! Thanks.
Well I’ll definitely take the time to enter because the points have some value but I agree with Howie — hogwash that they are worth 1350. You could easily find the cash value of the flights you take and report that since the points required are based on the cash value of the flight. Then I’d personally half the value since I dislike Southwest’s open seating so much. (But that’s just me!)
just registered, but no win for today.
Lucky for those that live in California!
Now to find the money to pay the taxes on these if you do win.
Singing up. Not a CA resident. Would be nice to have the 100k miles to use with my SW comp pass.
Tempting. I’m not sure if I really want to sign up for another airline program just for a contest.
100,000 for me!
really? I need to do some research.
Yeah. Southwest issues the currency and then they get to declare the US dollar cash value? Hogwash.
Note: If you win 100K SW will report $1,350 to IRS. You may need to pay tax for it.
Also, keep in mind, you could dispute the value.
I dient find it, so heres the Question: Is this only open to US-residents? Or worldwide?
The terms clearly state what is eligible for California residents and which residents are available for the other contest. It is not open to residents of foreign countries.
Like you wrote. It only takes 30 seconds. But, for people in California, it looks like a good deal.
I don’t live in CA, so I’ll hope to win the 100,000….good luck to those who enter from California – that’s a boatload of points!
