Military Personnel: Take 15% Off and Get 1,000 Bonus Points
U.S. and Canadian military personnel have an ongoing offer to receive up to a 15% discount on eligible stays. Now, military personnel can also earn 1,000 bonus points on a single stay booked by December 8 and completed by December 31, 2025. Use rate code SML when booking, and present a valid military ID when checking in.
This promotion does not require registration and is targeted at active and retired U.S. and Canadian military personnel, as well as their spouses and children. No minimum stay length is given. You can find this offer in the list of hotel deals in your Wyndham Rewards account.

2X Points and Gold Elite Status for Truck Drivers
Wyndham Rewards has introduced a new benefit for truck drivers with a Wyndham Business account. After registration, you will earn double points on stays at participating Wyndham properties in the U.S., up to 15,000 bonus points per year. You will also receive a year of Gold elite status.
Thereafter, you must complete three eligible stays each year by December 1 to continue earning double points and maintain Gold Elite status. If you do not meet this requirement, you will need to re-register for this offer.

Earn 7,500 Wyndham Points Every Two Nights (Up to 30k)
As part of Wyndham's Fall Getaway Deals, Wyndham Rewards members can earn up to 30,000 points with this promotion, awarded in blocks of 7,500 points for every two nights. To earn these points, you’ll need to book paid stays directly with Wyndham by January 16 and complete them by January 20, 2026.
The booking window is incredibly generous, and after just eight nights, you could earn nearly $400 in Wyndham Rewards points (based on recent AwardWallet user redemptions). And to make it easy, the nights don't have to be consecutive.

Pay 3 Bills with a Wyndham Rewards Card, Get 3k Bonus Points
Wyndham Rewards credit cardholders can earn 3,000 bonus points by registering for this promotion with their email address, Wyndham Rewards number, and credit card number, then setting up a recurring monthly bill payment with an eligible merchant by November 30, 2025, and completing three consecutive payments.
Eligible merchants include the following:
- Internet, cable, and phone services
- Select bill pay streaming services
- Utilities
- Fitness clubs and gym memberships
- Local transit and commuting
As long as you don’t cancel the direct debit within three months or close your account, 3,000 bonus points will be credited within 12 weeks of qualifying activity. The promotion applies to the following cards:
- Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card
- Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card
- Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card
- Wyndham Rewards Visa Card
Up to 10% Off Wyndham Vacation Club Stays
Looking to stay at a Wyndham Vacations Club property without sitting through a timeshare presentation? Wyndham Rewards members can save up to 10% off 2+ night stays at participating properties booked and completed by December 31, 2025. The discount applies to the base rate of the room, excluding taxes, fees, and other charges.

Double Points at New Hotels
Wyndham has an ongoing promotion that gives members double base points at new hotels when booking the Member Rate. This offer has a few restrictions; mainly, the hotel must be on the list of new properties. Members can even combine this offer with other points-based offers that require registration. When booking at a new hotel, this offer shows up as “New Hotel 2X Points Rate.”

Wyndham Promotions With Closed Booking Windows
End of Summer sale: Up to 20% off stays in the U.S. and Canada
To close out the summer, Wyndham is offering Rewards members 10% to 20% off stays booked by September 8, 2025. Book with the “Wyndham Rewards Rate” and receive the following discounts:
- 10% off 1-night stays
- 15% off stays of two consecutive nights
- 20% off stays of three or more consecutive nights
Eligible stays are at participating Wyndham locations in the U.S. and Canada through December 31, 2025.

Double points at WaterWalk extended stay hotels
WaterWalk Extended Stay Hotels offered Wyndham Rewards members double points on stays of 2+ nights. Members who booked by January 30 have until December 31, 2025, to complete their stay and earn 10X points instead of 5X points.

Our Take
Wyndham Rewards doesn’t have many promotions right now. The newest offers we've seen are 1,000 bonus points with a single stay for military personnel, and double points plus Gold Elite status for truck drivers. Members can also earn 7,500 bonus points every two nights, up to 30,000 bonus points, on stays through January 20, 2026.
Other ongoing deals include earning bonus points when you pay bills with an eligible card, collecting double points at new hotels, and saving up to 10% at Vacation Club properties.
Remember that you can earn more Wyndham points with the Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card or Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card. However, other travel rewards credit cards and hotel credit cards may be a better fit for paying for your hotel stays, so be sure to compare your options before you apply.
- 8X points on Hotels by Wyndham and gas purchases
- 5X points on marketing, advertising, and utility purchases
- 1X on all other purchases (excluding Wyndham timeshare down payments)

Barclays plays lots of games as to what qualifies for these payments. Many utility bills don’t qualify because merchant codes don’t line up with the offer. For example, they don’t consider water bills as a utility. Same for sewer, same for streaming. Like Sirius-XM is streaming but they say isn’t. Too many hoops for too little points to be worth setting this up.
Thanks, I have been trying to get a good reward card from them and this looks good for my next trip
Since they just massively devalued the point use for Vacasa, I think it is time to steer clear of Wyndham points!!
Enjoyed the Wyndham in San Francisco 4 * hotel.
Wyndham credit card provide elite status.
Wyndham Credit card gives you elite status with Wyndham and Caesar’s through status matching.
Extra points are fabulous.
I just feel miles are better spent on air travel…
Undoubtly Wyndham is my favourite hotel chain, this is a good promotion
I stayed in Dazzler Hotels by Wyndham and I loved it. It was a business travel, they made us an upgrade and after the check out they invited us to join the reward program. Waiting for my next stay with them. Best regards, Marta
Since Wyndham devalued suddenly without notice a couple years ago, it has left bad taste and I left the program for good.
I love Wydham for all the free night they kick out. !!! I ‘ve had many a reward night stays… the properties are bit sketchy… but it works.
I co-sign QFFlyer’s comment. It would be great if Caesars propertie were included. Otherwise, I only stay in Wyndhams when they’re the only game in town and I need a place to hang my hat. Nonetheless, I registered for all of the listed promos, just in case.
I miss the days when all Wyndham rooms were 15K points, you could really find some solid deals then….obviously too good to last, but not many Wyndham properties are worth 30k points IMHO….still it’s a useful program in the right context….loved staying at a Wyndham in Blue Earth, MN of all places….they can come in real handy sometimes.
Such a great deal for my trip in January! Great blog!
Sounds interesting!. Does it apply to wyndham hotels in Argentina??
Ariel – I haven’t seen anything in the terms saying it doesn’t apply. You can check the terms when you sign up for the promotion.
Shame Caesars properties aren’t included, Wyndham are so underwhelming in general, but if you’re going to stay anyway might as well take the points.
Wyndham have very few properties which I would consider aspirational. If all you need is a bed to hang your head on, then go for this promo.
I really like a Wyndham hotel however appreciate I’m maybe in the minority there
Seem like nice promos to get you back at the Wyndham!
Ed, you need to stay only 2 nights in one stay on the weekdays to get the promo #2. The promo #1 has no specific requirements on how to stay 4 nights (what days, and in how many stays) – anything would work for promo #1.
The point is that if you qualify for Promo #2 those same 2 (or more) nights will also be counted towards your completion of promo #1.
Obviosuly, you will not start planning a trip because of the promos, but if you already have something planned, you may re-consider and book at Wyndham because of the promos.
Good luck.
They must have a very small pool of points allocated for the promotions.
Thank you, nice post
So only a week to book it, must check in on a sunday to wednesday and stay 4 nights. Where do they come up with these restrictions? why bother with a bonus at all when like 10 people will qualify?
I agree. Worth registering but not worth moving any business for.
This is why Wyndham is my favourite hotel brand, thanks for the bonus
I’m mad at Wyndham at the moment. Got dinged after applying for the Earner card with the high SUB. Darn it! 🙂
se puede comprar las noches y usarlas en 2022 ? se ganan igualmente las millas …
Most of Wyndham-affiliated properties here in the Middle East is Ramada hotels, which is not very attractive ones, so hard to stay in Wyndham properties.
Registered, just in case. Haven’t really looked at Wyndham hotels in a while, been too loyal to IHG and Marriott.
Es una gran noticia ahora que se está abriendo el turismo
Good points, but why not mention the Wyndham Earner Business card as well? For readers who could qualify for a business card, it’s a far superior option than the Earner Plus card from the same bank.
Any views on Wyndham Rewards generally? I’m getting less and less enthused with IHG’s properties nowadays and the reduction in meaningful Elite benefits. Thinking about switching allegiances to Wyndham.
A timely long weekend stay can be a rewarding opportunity in this case.
Per the T&C, it’s not a one-time offer:
“Members are welcome to complete as many Offer Qualifying Stays as possible between March 17, 2021 and May 31, 2021; each separate Offer Qualifying Stay that is completed will earn the applicable Bonus.”
Also, Go Fast *and* Go Free awards are both ineligible.
7,500 points is a great deal!!
30k points a night? I haven’t stayed at a Wyndham lately but didn’t they have a cap max at 15k per night at their properties?
They used to. But now they have a 3-tier system: 7.5k, 15k, and 30k
What a handy opportunity to earn more points. Thanks for laying it out so clearly.
Wyndham Rewards is one points scheme that really passes me by. I’ve stayed in the occasional Ramada over the years, but other than that I’m much more interested in Hilton, IHG and even perhaps Marriott. This is a good offer though for anyone for whom their hotels are in convenient locations.
Not a bad reward if you need a 3 night stay, dont forget to sign up.
Thanks. This was great to get for travel planned anyway
Think i will be register this offer, Before i have stay at Sanya’s Wyndham hotels, it’s have big swimming pool and would like to go to Sanya next Month, register a member and this offer, will be earn one free night . Cool.
My work plans have changed to include a couple days at a location where a Wyndham hotel is the best (only) option. I don’t think I had signed up for this promotion but I referred back to this article. Unfortunately I can’t double dip on the promotions (my stay will end after the expiration date) but I will get many more points for the one promotion for which I will qualify.
I would love to see an article on how to manage Wyndham’s unusual point expiration policy (Points expire 4 years after they are awarded or 18 months with no account activity) Is there any way to know that some of our points are about to expire?
If you log into your desktop acct (not app) under Activity, it tells you how/when next group of points expire.
No travel means no hotel stays. I wonder how this will all work out….
Sadly no hotels stays now til the holidays. I hope they all have promos this winter. I also have a hard time getting my husband to not go through his precious Expedia for hotels. I was able to take advantage of several hotel promos this summer though. It was really nice seeing my accounts go up in points. Now I just need to see where I will use them. I like Wyndham and have some to use there, maybe I’ll a nice stay in one of their properties this winter.
I am wondering if you think holding their cc or Choice hotels card is a good idea if you don’t stay often? I know at least Choice hotel card doesn’t have an annual fee, so that one is really appealing, especially since MR transfers there.
His “precious Expedia.” LOL. I’d be intrigued to learn the reasons for his fond feelings, as there’s several good reasons to usually avoid booking with such online travel agencies. But, I’m always open to learning!
Agreed, although – when I was traveling pre-pandemic and when I resume traveling later – Chase Travel, which actually works with Expedia, is the way I book trips that I pay for with Ultimate Rewards points.
Departure date until September 10, 2020? Why do companies not adapt to the crisis we are experiencing? We need flexible dates.
I think this is them adapting though. They’re encouraging more stays at a time when people aren’t traveling.
I agree. This seems to be targeted to essential travelers rather than leisure travelers like most of us.
As long as register in time would previously booked stays be eligible?
It seems you’re all set! The T&C state: “Members must register for the Offer before completing their Qualified Stay during the Promotion Period in order for it to count toward this Offer.” But it doesn’t say that you have to register before booking.
