Offers for the Centurion® Card from
American Express just rebranded its Cruise Privileges Program as the American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection. The program offers enhanced benefits on luxury cruises and yachts for Centurion® Card from American Express and American Express Platinum Card® members.
Here are the details of the rebranded program, its available benefits, and who can access them.
Introducing the American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection
American Express has just announced it will rebrand the Cruise Privileges Program into the American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection. The new platform will launch on October 22, 2026.

Although its benefits are largely the same, the new name reflects all 20 cruise and yacht partners, including luxury yacht expeditions such as The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Orient Express Sailing Yachts, and Aman at Sea, as well as cruise partners including Virgin Voyages and Explora Journeys. Note that only select cruises are available, and eligible cruises are 5+ nights.

American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection Benefits
The revamped American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection comes with several benefits for eligible card members:
- Receive $100–$300 in onboard credit per stateroom or suite, plus a special amenity.
- Complimentary personalized trip planning through Amex Travel, with no booking fees.
You'll earn 2X Membership

Cards with access to the American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection
The American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection is only available to cardholders of Centurion® Card from American Express, the American Express Platinum Card®, and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express.

To book a cruise, the primary cardholder must be one of the named passengers on the booking. Cardholders can book cruises and yacht expeditions with cash or with points. Historically, redeeming points for cruises isn't a great value, so it's better to book with cash and earn 2X points on the cruise instead.

Our Take
The American Express Cruise and Yacht Collection is another benefit for select Amex cardmembers. You can earn 2X Membership Rewards points and get up to $300 in onboard credit, plus access to premium cruise lines and yacht collections normally unavailable through traditional cruise platforms, such as United Cruises.
If you've used the Cruise Privileges Program before, you'll notice that not much has changed other than the name. However, this is still a helpful program if you frequently book cruises.
