With the United States readying to be a FIFA World Cup host country (jointly with Canada and Mexico), it was only a matter of time before this giant world event made its way into the credit card universe. Bank of America — in partnership with Visa — is making sure to commemorate this occasion and celebrate it along with the bank's soccer fans.
Bank of America Launches Custom FIFA World Cup Card Designs
To celebrate this once-every-four-years event, Bank of America is launching two new custom card designs. Available to new applicants of two of its cards, the Bank of America® Customized Cash Rewards credit card and the Bank of America® Unlimited Cash Rewards credit card, applicants can choose to get their new cards issued with the limited-edition FIFA World Cup 2026 theme, available in two designs.
Those who want to score one of these designs can do so as of December 4, 2025 and have time until July 2026.

New Applicants: Get Exclusive FIFA World Cup Ticket Access
What's better than a limited-time exclusive soccer-themed credit card? Access to purchase tickets to some of FIFA World Cup's matches, of course.
New cardholders to the Bank of America Customized Cash Card or Bank of America Unlimited Cash Card will have the chance to purchase up to two tickets to select matches in the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament.
To be eligible, new cardholders must apply between December 4, 2025, and January 5, 2026 and have their cards opened and established by February 5, 2026. Cardholders will need to have their account up and running to purchase these tickets beginning February 10, 2026 once the ticket purchasing window opens.
Key points:
- Cardholders need to have an email on record to receive an email link on February 10, 2026, to access the ticket portal.
- The ticket purchasing window will open on February 10, 2026 at noon and will remain open until tickets run out.
- This same ticket portal will be available when logging into the Bank of America website or through the app.
- Cardholders will need to create a FIFA ID (which they can do in advance) to purchase tickets.
You can find more details and the fine print for this promotion in this release.

Bottom Line
If getting one of those highly coveted tickets is what you want, run, don't walk, as there is a limited amount of tickets made available to Bank of America cardholders through this promotion. As with many major sporting events, tickets tend to sell out fast.
While this is a new benefit for the FIFA world cup, there aren't any other additional benefits that differ from what the cards currently offer. Nevertheless, both cards are solid cash back options if you're in the market for a cash back credit card.
