If you're planning a trip to Las Vegas, choosing where to gamble can be just as important as where to stay. While MGM Rewards and Caesars Rewards dominate much of the Strip, The Venetian and The Palazzo offer a compelling alternative with their shared loyalty program, Venetian Rewards.

Whether you're visiting to gamble, enjoy the resort, or stay through its partnership with World of Hyatt, it's worth joining Venetian Rewards before your trip. Members can earn points on both gaming and eligible resort purchases, along with elite perks that improve as you move up the tiers.

Here's everything you need to know.

What Is Venetian Rewards?

Venetian Rewards lets you earn points on gaming, dining, entertainment, hotel stays, and other eligible spending while at The Venetian and The Palazzo resorts. Like many Las Vegas casino loyalty programs, you'll earn points toward elite status as you play and spend, unlocking additional perks with each tier.

The program has five elite status tiers: Jade, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, and Chairman.

You must be at least 21 years old to join Venetian Rewards, and you’ll need to verify your identity before earning points.

Venetian Rewards Tiers Explained

First, here's a look at the benefits of each tier. Then we'll explain how to earn Tier Points.

Jade

Jade is the entry-level tier in Venetian Rewards and is the default status for all new members.

  • Up to 5% off hotel rates
  • Personalized offers
  • Event presales
  • 10% off Canyon Ranch spa and fitness services

Since this is a status that anyone can hold, the benefits are understandably limited at this tier.

Sapphire

Sapphire is the first elite tier in the program and is earned once you reach 3,000 Tier Points. In addition to Jade benefits, you'll receive:

  • 1.25X slot multiplier
  • Birthday bonus gaming offer
  • Complimentary early check-in, when available
  • 12 p.m. late checkout
  • Complimentary self-parking and event parking
  • Buy one, get one free gondola rides
  • 15% off at participating retail outlets
  • 15% off Canyon Ranch spa and fitness services

The benefits start to roll in with Sapphire, like a (slightly) later checkout and early check-in.

Ruby

Ruby status is earned at 20,000 Tier Points and is where the program's perks become much more substantial. In addition to the benefits offered at lower tiers, Ruby members receive:

  • 1.5X slot multiplier
  • One complimentary suite night per year
  • One entourage suite night per year for a friend
  • Waived resort fee
  • Complimentary suite upgrades, when available
  • 2 p.m. late checkout
  • Guest check-in line
  • $100 dining credit each year
  • VIP reservation line, and priority access to Rewards desks, pools, and the Grand Lux Café
  • Complimentary TAO Beach access Thursdays–Sundays
  • Complimentary TAO Nightclub access Thursdays–Saturdays
  • Two complimentary gondola rides
  • 20% off retail outlets
  • 20% off Canyon Ranch spa and fitness services
  • An annual choice benefit of either $150 airfare reimbursement, one complimentary round of golf (at Serket Golf Course or Bear's Best), or $150 spa and fitness credit

Ruby offers many benefits for its members. Between waived resort fees, annual suite nights, dining credits, and complimentary access to TAO Beach and TAO Nightclub, frequent visitors can get a lot of value from this tier.

Keep in mind, if you're a Globalist staying at the Venetian (like I did last year), you'll receive 2 p.m. checkout — and you don't need to set foot in the casino!

Diamond

Diamond status is earned after reaching 50,000 Tier Points and is the highest published tier in Venetian Rewards. In addition to all lower-tier benefits, Diamond members receive:

  • 2X slot multiplier
  • Two complimentary suite nights per year
  • Two entourage suite nights per year for a friend
  • 4 p.m. late checkout
  • VIP check-in
  • Tier match to Explorist in the World of Hyatt program
  • $200 dining credit each year
  • Complimentary airport transportation
  • Four complimentary gondola rides
  • Two experience access passes to the Sphere
  • 25% off retail outlets
  • 25% off Canyon Ranch spa and fitness services
  • An annual choice benefit of either $450 airfare reimbursement, Two complimentary rounds of golf (at Serket Golf Course or Bear's Best), or a $300 spa and fitness credit
  • No food and beverage minimum for TAO Beach daybeds Thursdays–Sundays
  • Complimentary bottle of champagne and table for four at TAO Nightclub

Diamond builds on Ruby with additional annual suite nights, a larger dining credit, complimentary airport transportation, and a tier match to World of Hyatt Explorist. For frequent visitors, these added benefits can significantly improve the overall resort experience.

Chairman

Chairman is an invite-only tier reserved for the resort's most valuable casino guests.

  • 2.5X slot multiplier
  • 6 p.m. late checkout
  • Tier match to Globalist in the World of Hyatt program
  • $500 dining credit each year
  • Complimentary access to the Prestige Club lounge
  • Unlimited gondola rides
  • Four complimentary experience passes to the Sphere
  • 30% off retail outlets
  • 30% off Canyon Ranch spa and fitness services
  • $1,000 airfare reimbursement each year
  • Four rounds of golf
  • $500 spa and fitness credit

Chairman is designed for the resort's highest-value guests, with premium travel credits, complimentary lounge access, Hyatt Globalist status, and enhanced on-property benefits that go well beyond the lower tiers.

Just know, it takes a lot of time (and money) in the casino to reach this tier.

How Venetian Rewards Points Work

Now that we've covered the program's elite tiers, let's look at how to earn points.

Note that Tier Points help you qualify for elite status, while Rewards Points are the currency you'll redeem during your stay.

How To Earn Tier and Rewards Points

Members can earn Tier and Rewards Points through eligible gaming and qualifying hotel, dining, entertainment, retail, and spa spending. The earning period for Tier Points starts on March 1 and runs through the end of February the following year.

In the casino, you'll earn 1 Tier Point for every $4 of slot play and $10 of video poker. Eligible resort spending — like hotel stays, dining, shopping, spa services, and entertainment — earns 2 Tier Points per $1 spent.

Rewards Points are earned on both gaming and eligible resort spending. While resort purchases earn 2 Rewards Points per $1 spent, gaming earnings depend on your elite tier:

  • Jade earns 1X Reward Point per Tier Point earned on slot and video poker play.
  • Sapphire earns 1.25X Reward Points per Tier Point earned on slot and video poker play.
  • Ruby earns 1.5X Reward Points per Tier Point earned on slot and video poker play.
  • Diamond earns 2X Reward Points per Tier Point earned on slot and video poker play.
  • Chairman earns 2.5X Reward Points per Tier Point earned on slot and video poker play.

All table gaming earns 1 Reward Point per Tier Point, regardless of status, with a $10,000 value cap per year.

How To Redeem Venetian Rewards

Rewards Points can be redeemed toward eligible purchases throughout The Venetian and The Palazzo at a rate of 1 cent per point.

To redeem, simply present your Venetian Rewards card at any participating resort outlet. Redemptions require a minimum of 1,000 Rewards Points ($10 in value).

Venetian Rewards Points expire after 12 consecutive months without earning at least one Rewards Point. Any qualifying gaming or eligible resort activity that earns a Rewards Point will extend the expiration date of your full balance.

Transfer points to Hyatt

You can also redeem your Venetian Rewards Points for World of Hyatt points at a 2:1 ratio. Whether converting makes sense depends on how you plan to use the points. Since 2 Venetian Rewards Points are worth 2 cents toward resort purchases but convert into 1 Hyatt point, you’ll need to redeem that Hyatt point for more than 2 cents to come out ahead. For reference, AwardWallet users have averaged 2.19¢ per Hyatt point from recent redemptions.

Conversions require a minimum of 5,000 Rewards Points, and you must have stayed at The Venetian Las Vegas in the last six months. Members can convert up to 100,000 Venetian Rewards Points per day and 500,000 per Tier Year, allowing them to earn as many as 250,000 Hyatt points annually through this partnership.

Bottom Line

Venetian Rewards is worth joining before a visit to The Venetian or The Palazzo, even if you don’t expect to gamble heavily. Members can earn rewards from eligible resort spending, while frequent guests and casino players can unlock increasingly useful perks such as waived resort fees, dining credits, complimentary suite nights, and late checkout.

The World of Hyatt partnership adds another angle. Diamond and Chairman members can receive Hyatt elite status, while Venetian Rewards Points can be converted into Hyatt points. However, the 2:1 conversion won’t make sense for every redemption, so compare the value with using your Rewards Points toward eligible purchases at the resort.

Just pay attention to the program’s qualification periods, booking requirements, and point-expiration policy. And, as always, gamble responsibly.
