Airbnb, in conjunction with Gift Card Mall, is offering 20% off the purchase of gift cards. Cards are available from as small as $5 to a maximum of $500. The great news about Airbnb gift cards is that they do not expire, so even if you have no concrete travel plans in the next month or two, this should not present a problem. The offer is valid until December 17, 2016.

To take advantage of the offer all you need to do is head over to the Promotions page of Gift Card Mall.

Selecting the option to pick up the Airbnb gift card, you will be taken to a page where you’ll be able to choose the amount of the gift card, and the quantity of cards you want. To ensure that you get the discount, double-check in the delivery option that the promo code EGIFT is selected.

After selecting the quantity and amount of the cards you want, the following page will prompt you to enter the details of who will be receiving the card, including their email address. You can simply enter your details twice and ignore the optional message.

Finally, after all the details have been added to the cart, you will be taken to the checkout page. You should find that the 20% discount has been automatically subtracted to the bill.

You can see here that I bought a $25 gift card with a discount of $5. And in the card details, I have sent the card to myself. All you need to do after purchase is to head over to your Airbnb account and add the card.

Overall

This deal has no major restrictions, and with historically limited supplies, it is well worth picking up. Moreover, due to the absence of an expiration date, even if you don’t have any immediate travel plans, you can always hold on to them for a future.
