If you want to save money on a vacation package and earn Rapid Rewards points at the same time, now’s a great time to book through Getaways by Southwest. On eligible bookings, you can save up to $500 on select international vacation packages or $250 on select domestic packages.
Packages must meet a minimum spend to qualify for the discount. Unlike regular Southwest flights, which no longer include free checked baggage, Getaways by Southwest still offers up to two free checked bags.
These deals aren’t limited to Rapid Rewards members, but it may be worth joining if you aren’t already a member since members earn extra points on packages. Here are the details for the current promotions.

What Is Getaways by Southwest?
Getaways by Southwest is Southwest Airlines' vacation package platform. Travelers can bundle flights, hotels, rental cars, and activities, often with significant savings. Rapid Rewards members earn points on the flight portion of their package, along with bonus points from select brands.
Many airlines offer similar platforms, including Delta Vacations and Stays by Alaska Vacations. While bundling can be convenient and cost-effective, you might still save more or earn additional rewards by booking each piece separately. It’s worth comparing prices before you commit.
Booking through Getaways by Southwest at certain resorts may also come with added perks like complimentary meals, entertainment, and on-site activities. On May 28, 2025, Southwest changed its baggage fees. However, vacation packages with Getaways by Southwest still come with two free checked bags.

Save Up to $500 on Getaways by Southwest Vacation Packages
Getaways by Southwest regularly offers great deals on vacation packages to a variety of destinations. An ongoing promotion with no end date offers up to $250 off packages within the U.S. or up to $500 off trips to Hawaii or international destinations.
Eligible packages must include a stay of five or more nights and are valid for all destinations offered through Getaways by Southwest.
Unlike other offers, this promotion doesn’t require a promo code, as the savings are applied automatically. The offer also doesn’t specify a booking window or travel dates.
As usual, a hotel stay is required for the entire length of the package to qualify for the discount, and a one-day advance purchase is required.

Save up to $500 on vacations worldwide
The semi-annual sale in the summer offered up to $500 off vacation packages worldwide. Promo code ALLDESTINATION125 offered up to $125 off domestic packages, and promo code ALLDESTINATION500 offered up to $500 off international packages. Members who booked such a vacation by July 31 have until December 31, 2025, to complete their vacation.
Save $100 on vacation packages to Las Vegas
Travelers who spent at least $750 on a Getaways by Southwest vacation package to Las Vegas by June 9 saved $100 with promo code SAVEONVEGAS100. Beyond the minimum spend threshold, no minimum vacation length was required. Travelers must complete their trip by December 31, 2025.
Save $200 on vacation packages to Mexico
This Southwest Vacations promotion instantly offered $200 off packages to Mexico with five or more nights if booked by June 9. This offer didn't require a promo code or minimum spend threshold. Travelers who booked this package must now travel by December 31, 2025.
Save $50 at Riu Hotels & Resorts
Travelers who booked a Getaways by Southwest vacation package of five or more nights at a Riu Hotel & Resort property by June 9 instantly saved $50. They must now complete their travels by December 31, 2025.
Up to $350 eligible packages with a Hyatt Inclusive Collection stay
Travelers who booked a vacation package including a Hyatt Inclusive Collection by May 5 using promo code INCLUSIVE150 saved $150 off packages valued at $1,500 or more. Any such packages must now be completed by December 31, 2025.
$100 off eligible packages to Las Vegas
Travelers who booked a Getaways by Southwest vacation package to Las Vegas valued at over $750 by May 5 with promo code SUMMERVEGAS100 saved $100. All such packages must be completed by December 31, 2025. No minimum stay length was required, but the length of the stay must have matched the full length of the vacation package.
