Who’s Eligible for These United Card Welcome Offers?
If you have or had one of these cards recently, you may be ineligible for a bonus on that same card. You'll find this language in each card's application terms:
“This product is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this credit card within the last 24 months.”
However, there is no restriction on applying for one of these cards if you hold other United credit cards. That means you can get the United Gateway Card if you have the United Explorer Card or United Quest Card, for example.
Like all Chase cards, United cards are subject to Chase’s 5/24 policy. If you’ve opened five or more personal credit cards in the previous 24 months, you likely won't be approved for this card. Additionally, Chase doesn't tend to approve anyone for more than two personal credit cards within 30 days or more than one business card within 90 days.
