Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards is out with a new offer for an up-to-50% discount on award flights to six international destinations. These featured destinations change each quarter, and this month’s lineup includes routes to warm and sunny destinations located along the Pacific Rim.

Here's everything you need to know about this offer, which has a week-long booking window.

Save Up to 50% on These Alaska Airlines Award Tickets

This promotion from Alaska Airlines applies to six destinations with discounted award flights at the following “starting at” prices:

  • Manila, Philippines (MNL): Starting at 25,000 points
  • Bangkok, Thailand (BKK): Starting at 30,000 points
  • Hong Kong (HKG): Starting at 30,000 points
  • Auckland, New Zealand (AKL): Starting at 35,000 point or 25,000 points from Honolulu
  • Sydney, Australia (SYD): Starting at 35,000 points or 25,000 points from Honolulu
  • Cook Islands (RAR): Starting at 35,000 points

To book one of these discounted awards, you’ll need to act fast. The booking window runs from November 4 through November 11, 2025. The travel window is a bit longer and covers trips from now through March 30, 2026.

Do you actually get a 50% award discount?

If you'd like to book an award flight on these routes, you'll notice that these “starting at” prices are better than what you'll typically pay. Sometimes the discounts exceed 50%, sometimes they don't.

For example, a one-way award ticket between Los Angeles (LAX) and Manila (MNL) via Taipei (TPE) operated by Starlux will cost you 42,500 Atmos Rewards points. With this promotion, you'll pay 25,000 points. This is north of a 51% discount, which is pretty remarkable.

However, you’ll mostly find the best discounts on partner airline–operated awards. That’s because most partner airlines follow Atmos Rewards’ distance-based award charts, where pricing is more of a rule than a suggestion.

You'll find suggestion-type pricing on awards operated by Hawaiian Airlines, though. For instance, the promotion advertises awards from Honolulu to Sydney starting at 25,000 points. While that pricing does exist, it’s less common than the discounted rates available on flights operated by Atmos Rewards partners.

Visit Two Destinations With One Discounted Award

Going to Hong Kong, Bangkok, and the rest sounds excellent. Know what's even better? Using one ticket to visit two places.

We are big fans of Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards. Its points are extremely valuable: AwardWallet users have averaged 2.12¢ per point in recent redemptions. If you're considering a discounted award ticket with this promotion, this deal can get even better.

Alaska Airlines allows free stopovers. You can use this to potentially stop in Tokyo or Seoul en route to Hong Kong, for example.

Our Take

This is a really interesting promotion from Alaska Airlines. In fact, the best part about it is that it's “each quarter,” meaning we should continue to see new offers every few months. While the deal says “up to 50% off award travel,” not all routes are discounted that much. Luckily, there aren't any blackout dates for the discounted rates.
