Application Restrictions
Capital One has a few application restrictions to keep in mind when applying for any personal Capital One credit card.
The first is the number of Capital One cards you can have at one time. It's unclear exactly how many Capital One cards you can have open at one time, but there is a limit. According to what a Capital One banker shared with one AwardWallet user, you could have up to five Capital One credit cards at a time, though these must be spread across different card families (Venture, Quicksilver, and Savor), plus one charge card. Business cards do not typically count against the number of personal Capital One credit cards you can hold at one time.
It's also important to note that you can't apply for more than one Capital One card within six months. And be aware that Capital One will most likely pull your credit report from all three major credit bureaus.
