Chase just launched a new 50% transfer bonus when you transfer Chase points to Marriott Bonvoy®. Now through February 28, 2026, you’ll get 1,500 Marriott points for every 1,000 Chase points you transfer.
While it’s always nice to see a transfer bonus, Marriott Bonvoy is one of Chase’s less valuable transfer partners. In most cases, transferring Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott won’t be the best use of your points compared to other redemption options.
That said, there are still a few situations where this bonus could be worth considering. Here’s when it might make sense.

Transfer Chase Points to Marriott Bonvoy With a 50% Bonus
Chase Ultimate Rewards points typically transfer to Marriott Bonvoy at a 1:1 ratio. With this promotion, you’ll get a 50% bonus, meaning 1,000 Chase points will become 1,500 Marriott points.
This is a slightly better transfer bonus than we usually see between Chase and Marriott. But even with the extra 50%, it may not be worth jumping on for most travelers.
Based on recent redemptions by AwardWallet users, Marriott Bonvoy points have provided an average value of 0.93¢ apiece. With the transfer bonus, that works out to roughly $14 in value for every 1,000 Chase points you transfer, or about 1.4 cents per point. That’s a reasonable redemption rate, but you can often get even more value by transferring your points to other Chase partners.
If you’re considering this promotion, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to transfer Chase points.

Chase to Marriott Bonvoy Transfer Bonus History
Including this new offer, Chase has run a Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonus more than a dozen times since early 2021. These promotions have typically ranged from 40% to 70%, so the current 50% bonus is fairly middle of the road. It's not the best we’ve seen, but not the worst either.

Is It Worth Transferring Ultimate Rewards Points to Marriott?
Marriott is one of the largest hotel chains in the world. But even with so many properties, it usually doesn’t make sense to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points unless you’re topping off your Marriott Bonvoy account for a high-value stay, whether that’s at a luxury property or a budget-friendly hotel that offers solid value for your points.
Just keep in mind that Marriott uses dynamic award pricing, which makes redemption value somewhat unpredictable. You won’t know exactly how many points you’ll need until you start searching, and pricing can vary significantly from one week to the next.
However, it might be worth transferring 4,000 Chase points to book a 6,500-point Marriott stay.

Or, you could splurge with as few as 66,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to book a top-tier property like Al Maha.

Our Take
If you’re going to transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to any hotel program, we generally recommend World of Hyatt. Chase points transfer to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio, and based on recent AwardWallet user redemptions, World of Hyatt points are worth around 2.19¢ per point. Even without a transfer bonus, that’s typically a better value.
That said, if you find a great Marriott deal or just need a few more points for an upcoming redemption, topping off your Marriott account with Chase points could still make sense.
Just keep in mind that this offer won’t be around for long. The 50% Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer bonus ends on February 28, 2026.
