IHG® Rewards Club Select Credit Card members are in for an unexpected treat this summer. All Points & Cash bookings made by August 7, 2016, for stays completed by September 30, 2016, will cost 15% less on the cash portion of the Points & Cash reservation. A Points & Cash rate that used to run for 30,000 points and $60.00 will now cost you 30,000 points and $51.00.
The 15% discount is offered during the booking process to eligible Cardmembers. Unfortunately, bookings for The Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas are excluded from the discount. Terms and conditions of the Save 15% on Points and Cash Bookings this Summer.
If you are already an IHG Rewards Card member, this is the type of promotion that further justifies keeping this card, particularly considering its super low annual fee of only $49 and the Free Anniversary Night certificate provided.
Bear in mind that the Free Anniversary Night certificate is valid at any IHG property in the world (subject to availability), which means that it can save you at least a few hundred dollars and perhaps even more, depending on the property booked. Also, worth a mention is that IHG Rewards Card members receive an automatic 10% point rebate on redemptions.
The IHG Rewards Card bonus is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months. The card comes with a $0 introductory annual fee the first year, then $49.
