As of November 30, 2018, Barney’s Beanery is no longer a part of Priority Pass.
Recently, it seems not a week goes by without Priority Pass adding another restaurant to its network. This time it’s Barney’s Beanery at Los Angeles (LAX) Terminal 2. Hopefully, this will take some of the pressure off the only other Priority Pass lounge at LAX Terminal 2, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.
What You Get
The restaurant is located airside on the left next to gate 22, and offers a wide-ranging menu from tacos, quesadillas and wet burritos to salads, soups, and burgers. Priority Pass members will receive the following:
- Cardholders are entitled to a $28 credit towards food and drink
- Each registered guest is also entitled to a $28 credit towards food and drink
Unlike some other Priority Pass restaurants, there is no restriction on the number of guests, and you can bring in as many guests as your Priority Pass membership allows. If you have received your Priority Pass membership through credit card enrollment, the number of guests is determined by your card issuer.
Our Take
We're fans of additional options and leveraging airport restaurants where there is limited lounge access is OK with us.

I prefer the restaurants to lounges.
Please more restaurants!
More PP restaurants is a good thing anywhere, but especially at LAX. Looks like this one doesn’t sell non-perishables to take away, but I haven’t been there yet, so hopefully I’m wrong.

LOVE IT!!
First off what’s a wet burrito?! One that has sauce compared to one that doesn’t?
I like that they don’t have a limit on guests. I don’t know how I’d feel if I was turned away at a lounge. At least then you’d have the restaurant to go to.
5 seconds in Mr. Google will tell you what a wet burrito is, and yes, it is sauced.
I like this trend of adding restaurants to Priority Pass. More!
T2 at LAX used to be a place to avoid – it just got a whole lot more valuable. LOL.
I prefer lounge access too, but this eases the congestion at lounges, especially at LAX, where I was routinely locked out of the Alaska Airlines lounge.
Nice, I have a trip coming up shortly and I will be in T2 at LAX.
Definitely need to try out this place now.
Personally, i like lounge access rather than food (which cone in the lounges anyway) but I can appreciate the desires of those wanting something more substantial. Sometimes my wife wants restaurant food instead of lounge food, so adding restaurants gives options, and options always add value.
I agree. More restaurants, please!!
I’ll take the 28 bucks worth of good food instead of pawed over food in the PP lounge any day of the week. This is a great PP perk
Really heading towards adding more restaurants into the membership. Never a bad thing though!
