It’s getting hard to ignore the Rove Miles program. Although it only launched in early 2025, it has already introduced several unique promotions that allow you to earn extra transferable miles through online shopping and travel bookings. And now there’s an even bigger reason to pay attention: a limited-time transfer bonus to its newest partners, Japan Airlines Mileage Bank and Scandinavian Airlines SAS EuroBonus.

Here’s everything you need to know about these Rove Miles transfer bonuses and how to move your miles to Rove’s transfer partners.

Transfer Rove Miles to Japan Airlines With a 50% Bonus

To celebrate the launch of a newly-added transfer partner, Japan Airlines, Rove Miles is going big with a 50% transfer bonus. This offer is available through 11:59 pm EST on March 31, 2026.

Rove Miles imposes a minimum of 2,000 miles per transfer, with transfers allowed in increments of 100 thereafter. But even if you transfer the minimum, you’ll walk away with 3,000 Japan Airlines Mileage Bank miles after the bonus. This is an incredible offer, and it makes sense why it’s not sticking around for very long.

As for what you can do with those miles, the options are nearly endless. JAL has some incredible sweet spots. Beyond Oneworld awards and non-alliance partner redemptions on Emirates and LATAM, you’ll also get first dibs on Japan Airlines’ own premium cabin award availability.

For example, if you want to use this Rove Miles transfer bonus to fly Japan Airlines business class from Seattle (SEA) to Tokyo Narita (NRT) in January 2027, you’d only need to transfer 46,700 Rove Miles to Mileage Bank to book an award that costs 70,000 Japan Airlines miles.

At the time of writing, this award isn't available through any other partner program.

You can also score incredible deals by flying during off-peak seasons, as JAL applies seasonality to award tickets on flights it operates. To learn more about how that works, check out our full guide to earning and redeeming JAL miles.

Transfer Rove Miles to SAS EuroBonus With a 20% Bonus

If a 50% bonus to Japan Airlines isn't enough, how about a 20% bonus to Rove Miles' newest transfer partner, SAS EuroBonus? You can take advantage of this offer through April 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

If you aren't familiar with Scandinavian Airlines, you aren't alone. SAS EuroBonus isn't a super popular loyalty program in the U.S. points and miles community. That's because, until the partnership between Rove and SAS, you couldn't transfer points from any U.S. program to SAS. You could book select SAS-operated flights through SkyTeam partners like Delta, but you couldn't book directly with SAS unless you earned points through regular flying on SAS-operated flights.

So, here's how you can use your bonus points during this promotion. SAS publishes an award chart:

In other words, you'd need to transfer just 25,000 Rove Miles to book a flight in economy or 50,000 miles to book a flight in business from the U.S. to SAS hubs in Copenhagen (CPH), Stockholm (ARN), or Oslo (OSL). SAS flies to 10 cities in North America, including San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX), Seattle (SEA), Chicago (ORD), Atlanta (ATL), Miami (MIA), Washington D.C. (IAD), Boston (BOS), New York (JFK, EWR), and Toronto (YYZ).

In other words, 50,000 miles for an 11-hour flight from the West Coast to Denmark in a lie-flat seat isn't a bad deal. The trick is finding availability. The award chart above shows rates for “bonus” fares, which are essentially promo award fares. If the bonus fare is sold out for your date, you'll need to pay the “flex” fare, which allows changes and refunds, but is typically much more expensive.

As you can see, this nonstop flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Copenhagen (CPH) offers an Economy Bonus fare for just 30,000 points, plus 4.82€ ($5.60) in taxes and fees. However, the Business Bonus fare is sold out. Rather than paying 60,000 points, you'd pay 1,268,055 points for a Business Flex fare — 21X the standard rate. While Economy Bonus availability is widespread, finding Business Bonus fares can be challenging.

However, SAS EuroBonus points can also be a great way to book intra-European flights. Given the current Rove Miles transfer bonus, you could book a domestic flight in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden for just 4,200 Rove Miles, or a flight between Nordic countries for just 8,400 miles. Several of these routes tend to have expensive cash fares, so you'll get a solid value from your points.

How to Transfer Rove Miles to Partners

It’s quick and easy to transfer Rove Miles to one of its 15 partners. From the Rove Miles dashboard, scroll down until you see the “Transfer partners” header. You can swipe right to find the program you want or click “See all.” Alternatively, click the person icon at the top of the screen and select “Transfer Miles.”

No matter which route you take, you’ll land on the same screen where you can pick your partner, enter the number of miles you want to transfer, add your loyalty account number, and confirm the transfer.

Each transfer partner page also shows the estimated processing time. That’s especially helpful if you’re moving miles over with the goal of booking something quickly.

Historical Rove Transfer Bonuses

Even though Rove Miles is a new program, these transfer bonuses are already the third and fourth transfer bonuses it’s offered. For a quick walk down memory lane, here are all of the transfer bonuses Rove has rolled out so far:

  • 20% transfer bonus from Rove Miles to Air France–KLM Flying Blue through October 22, 2025
  • 20% transfer bonus from Rove Miles to Finnair Plus through December 31, 2025
  • Current bonus: 50% transfer bonus from Rove Miles to Japan Airlines through March 31, 2026
  • Current bonus: 20% transfer bonus from Rove Miles to SAS EuroBonus through April 8, 2026

Bottom Line

The best time to transfer miles to a partner is when there’s a transfer bonus, as long as you already have a specific use in mind. We generally don’t recommend speculative transfers, since they leave you exposed to no-notice devaluations (which do happen).

That said, you shouldn’t have much trouble putting the 50% Rove Miles transfer bonus to Japan Airlines to good use. There are incredible ways to redeem JAL Mileage Bank miles, and there’s plenty of time between now and March 31, 2026, to find award availability, initiate your transfer, and confirm your booking. And if you're planning out your European summer, you can take advantage of a 20% transfer bonus to SAS EuroBonus through April 8, 2026.
