Citi has announced a sweepstake awarding one lucky winner 1,000,000 Citi ThankYou Points. Second and third place 100,000 or 500,000 point prizes are also available. If you are eligible, you need to apply for the promotion by August 31, 2018.

- The promotion is open to residents of all 50 states, DC, and other US territories, who are over 18 years of age
- You are limited to 1 entry per account
- Non-resident aliens are ineligible
There are 3 levels of winners:
- 10 winners will each receive 100,000 Citi ThankYou points
- 3 winners will each receive 500,000 Citi ThankYou points
- 1 winner will receive 1,000,000 Citi ThankYou points
Citi ThankYou Points
The Citi ThankYou Rewards program can be quite valuable with a slew of airline transfer partners. Unfortunately, Citi has no hotel transfer partners, which isn't an issue as transferring flexible travel rewards to hotels tends to be a relatively poor value (Hyatt would be a known exception with Chase Ultimate Rewards)
Our Take
This is arguably the best investment of a few seconds of your time; a couple of seconds to register and you stand a chance to win big. So if you qualify, get registering!

A few years ago I entered a contest Citi had on face book. Won 5000 points worth $500. Wonder how long until we find out who won this contest. Looking forward to finding out. Good luck everyone!
could use those points. Thanks for the chance to win.
Signed up!
Keeping fingers crossed. Thanks for heads up!
It!s me
Pick me!
I need some extra Citi points. I think I’ll enter 🙂 thanks for the info!
lorrie has asked a good question.
I have a Citi Aadvantage Card that gets miles instead of points so I can’t enter. Thanks for all the great information though.
Nothing to lose by entering, and someone has to win it.
Amazing offer! Lets hope i can win!
I am going to win, I am going to win !!!
thanks for the heads up!
How do you enter 1,000,000 point sweepstakes?
You might try clicking the link in the article that says “enter the sweepstakes”
I would love to win the jackpot 🙂
Good Luck to you all!!!
And yes, I entered as well.
Would be nice to win
Sure would!
Thank you for the public service announcement!
Just participated on http://www.thankyou.com
Good luck everyone,
Do additional card holders count as separate accounts for entrees?
No.
Good luck to all who enter. Congrats to the one who wins. I won’t be able to enter. At least one person not competing.
Just entered.
Good of you to do this
No harm in trying!
Somebody has to win. Good luck to all.
Thanks for the info
I am very hopeful that I will win!
never had much luck with being able to win anything, but you never know it maybe my lucky day!!!

Nice contest. Hope Citi really strengthens the Prestige card though.
Wish it was me!
I saw, I entered, now I hope to win!
Wow, 1m citi points. I’m dreaming what I could do with that haul.
A lovely give away for the lucky winner, good luck everyone.
would be nice to win!
signed up! thank you!!
Thank you for always giving us the heads up scoop.
If its not me, I hope someone on this board wins it.
Just registered.
This is a strong sweepstake.
I keep getting an Error 404 message when I click on the link in my Prestige account.
Try logging in and then clicking the link.
For tax purposes how much does Citi value each of their ThankYou points?
According to the rules, it appears as though they’re valuing each point at $.01, so 1,000,000 points would be $10,000. Personally, I’d contest it and say $.005, given that is the cash exchange value you can get on the points.
Im a non resident Alien 😀
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! You just never know. Good luck to all!
Thanks for the heads up!
They’ll hit you with the taxes on the win, just be aware. But you can arguably get that value down if their value is unreasonable (I haven’t seen what it is). But that’s a good problem to have.
Well, that is true with any contest. And yes, contest it down to .5 cents/point, which is the actual cash value Citi will give you.
Like I said though…a good problem to have. 🙂
Low chances, but sure would be nice to win.
Well, I never win anything, but what the heck – I threw my name into the pot……
I closed my Citi ThankYou Premier card earlier this year and I guess I can’t enter the sweepstakes as a result.
I ALWAYS enter these sweepstakes though I NEVER win them LOL
thanks for the info. very easy process to enter
Anytime you can win that many points it’s worth the effort to enter. Although your chances of winning are almost nothing if you don’t enter at all your chances are zero
Good luck to all!
The chances are so remote… I prefer sweepstakes where you actually can earn 5 cents insted of those where you have 1 to 1.000.000 chance to win
Thanks for the info. I entered. Quick and easy.
let it be me…
Odds are probably pretty bad but somebody has to win.
Gotta be the luckiest guy! ??????☝
Exactly. You never know. Nothing anything close to one million, but I’ve won several points-related prizes in the past. Certainly never hurts to try.
Although the chances of winning are very small, for those that are eligible, there’s no reason not to enter. This is a flexible currency that I haven’t yet started collecting — I still have some Chase UR cards to apply for. I think TY points will be next on my list. The more I play in this game, the more I appreciate flexible points. I would have no problem figuring out what to do with one million flexible points!
I just saw that yesterday when signing on to ThankYou to figure out what I am going to do with my points.
