Through May 19, 2018, you'll receive a 30% bonus in ThankYou Points transferred to JetBlue TrueBlue. On the surface this may not seem like anything significant, however, it is a worthwhile transfer to consider if JetBlue is your primary airline.
Key Terms
- Promo is valid through 11:59 PM ET May 19, 2018
- Receive a 30% bonus when transferring City ThankYou points to JetBlue TrueBlue
- Citi Premier® Card or Citi Prestige® Card cardmembers will receive 1,040 TrueBlue points for every 1,000 ThankYou Points transferred (instead of 800).
- If you hold the Citi ThankYou® Preferred Card, you'll receive 650 TrueBlue points for every 1,000 ThankYou Points transferred (instead of 500).

Our Take
If you have a definite use for TrueBlue points, then this deal is worth it, but we wouldn't recommend transferring speculatively. You could always hold on to your ThankYou points for a Flying Blue promo award, or transfer to Singapore which you can then use to book flights to Hawaii with United or Alaska.

I totally forgot about this until I signed on the Thank you site and saw it. I’m going for it.
I like the fact that JetBlue miles don’t expire, so I have a few thousand, but I wouldn’t buy them until I know I need to muse them.
Any idea if AMEX will be offering this anytime soon?
Your guess is as good as ours
Don’t need this right now but will keep it in mind. Love JetBlue.
I’m flying mint for the first time next month, and wish I could rebook this as I transferred points at the regular rate. this seems like a very good opportunity for point transfers
@M says: “I found out about the Amazon Jet blue deal, right about the time they said they are cancelling it =/”
You have my sympathies, as that sounds very familiar.
agreed
Hold off on this deal unless you have a specific Jetblue trip planned.
I need to get points somehow now that amazon isn’t a partner.
@JL What route did you fly? Was it from a gateway, or were you able to start at a regional airport?
I’m building miles with Jetblue but haven’t flown them yet. I agree with Maryjane the miles don’t expire so I see this as a positive if someone flies them or just really wants to build miles with them. I’m really looking for something to transfer to American Airlines. Dang them! Though I do hear on the grape vine that Barclay might be getting American as a transfer partner after their change up?
It is really expensive to book mint with points. Too bad, because it is an awesome product.
I think 40% bonus is the high for Jetblue transfers from Citi so this deal is just okay.
No bueno! I already moved my ThankYou points to JetBlue before this bonus offer
this is great! I love jetblue.
Thank you!
I wish I flew Jet blue more, especially since their points don’t expire and I have some SPG points I wanted to move. I found out about the Amazon Jet blue deal, right about the time they said they are cancelling it =/
thank you!
I wholeheartedly agree to hold off on this deal unless you have a specific Jetblue trip planned.
This is very interesting, but we just bought a house and can’t travel for a while. Actually, we have already moved out from Hernesaari…
I tried JetBlue’s Mint product recently and it was outstanding.
Highly recommended.
Definitely worth considering
I have always used my ThankYou points to book airfares, I have never transferred my points. I am not sure if this is a good or bad strategy?
It all depends on the value you receive from each point. You can easily calculate this.
Hard to say if I’ll move on this one. Kind of wanna wait it out to see if a larger percentile offer might be down the pike.
I wouldn’t hold your breath.
I don’t see many interesting uses for Thank You points except travel. I am planning on closing an account soon, and they give you 60 days, I believe, to redeemed points earned from the particular account, so this option is very timely for me. Thanks.
don’t get to fly JetBlue.. keep em coming!
JetBlue has a presence at my home town (regional) airport, which I though would be great. However, I’ve tried to search revenue fares for MINT seats, and never had any luck finding availability. It seems that if the entire itinerary ins’t in MINT, then no availability is displayed. Could that possibly be true?
Great question; I don’t know. Could be though.
Thanks for letting us know. The probelm is I already moved my ThankYou points to JetBlue before this bonus offer.
I have the preferred card but find it disappointing the transfer ratios are much lower than the AF card and that I don’t have access to transfer to their additional airlines.
Since JetBlue points don’t expire, this would be almost worth doing even without firm plans to use the points. Especially since the JetBlue- Amazon deal expires today! I agree with the previous poster that JetBlue has a superior product and I would certainly choose to fly them more if their route system was more extensive.
Well, JetBlue offers a superior product, so I may have to think about this one based on my upcoming ideas.
