IHG has announced its latest promotion earning you 1,000 bonus Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles for every IHG qualifying stay. The promotion is valid for stays through December 31, 2022, and to qualify for the bonus; each stay has to be 2 nights or more. With the promotion, you can earn a maximum of 15,000 bonus miles.

How To Take Advantage of The Promotion
Taking advantage of this promotion is not as straightforward as usual since it requires changing your earning preferences with IHG. To participate in the promotion, either sign into your IHG account or click on the link to your settings page on the promotion page.
If you are not already signed in, you will be prompted to before being taken to the IHG One Rewards setting page.
At the bottom right-hand side of the page, under “Earning Preferences,” select “Airline Miles.” A small window will appear, where you can select Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles from a dropdown menu and enter your Frequent Flyer number, first name, and surname.
Once you have entered your details, click save, and you are set to earn your bonus miles. Remember that once you have earned the maximum amount of bonus miles with the promotion or it has expired, you need to go back into your setting and change your earning settings to IHG One Rewards points.
Our Take
If you are a Turkish Airlines member and IHG One Rewards member and have some upcoming stays, this is a great way to earn a few extra Turkish Airlines Mile & Smiles miles. While the promotion is good value, it is not lucrative enough to deserve significant travel plan changes. However, if it fits in with your plans, it is a nice little bonus.
Remember if you have maximized this offer by earning the maximum number of bonus miles or want to earn United miles instead and have some upcoming IHG stays. Then why not take advantage of the virtually identical promotion IHG is running, giving you up to 15,000 bonus United miles for IHG stays through November 30, 2022.
