Virgin Velocity is the loyalty program of Virgin Australia and is separate from Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. The program is open to residents of Australia, New Zealand, and select islands in Oceania. From time to time, Virgin Velocity Australia has promotions for its members, such as bonus points, transfer bonuses, etc.
Virgin Australia Promotion for Double Points on Flights
The current Virgin Australia Velocity promotion offers members double points on flights booked before February 25 and completed before June 30, 2024. Members normally earn 5 points per dollar on all fares for both domestic and international flights. Through this promotion, members will earn 10 points per dollar.
It appears this is a targeted offer, so check your email for a link to activate your double points. Again, Virgin Australia Velocity is only available to residents of Australia, New Zealand, and other specific South Pacific countries. You can try registering with the “my country isn't listed” option, but success rates vary.
