Shawn Gallagher grew up in Tokyo, Japan, in an international family and made frequent trips across the Pacific to visit relatives on the U.S. East Coast. Those early experiences sparked a passion for air travel, and he made his first award redemption on a JAL Business Class flight via AAdvantage when he was 18.
Since then, he has continued to leverage points and miles to connect with family and friends around the world. He enjoys planning his next trips, in addition to analyzing the airline and travel industry and sharing his insights.
