British Airways launched a new promotion offering members 50% bonus Avios when booking with Avis or Airbnb. Or, you can earn 1,000 bonus Avios on a two-night stay at IHG hotels. The Airbnb bonus is good on both stays and Airbnb Experiences. Here's what you need to know about this promotion.
50% Bonus Avios for Avis and Airbnb Bookings Promotion
British Airways Executive Club members who register their membership number through the promotional page will earn 50% more Avios when booking with Avis or Airbnb before June 28, 2022. That means members will earn 4.5 Avios per $1 (USD) spent on Airbnb rentals and experiences, and 7.5 Avios per 1£ (GBP) spent on Avis rentals.
Avis Bonus Avios promotion
Avis rentals must be within the rental car group C or above and for a minimum of 3 days, and picked up between September 1 and October 31, 2022. Eligible rentals must be made using a British Airways/Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number. The AWD code depends on your Executive Club elite status level:
- Gold: N744400
- Silver: N744300
- Bronze: N284300
- Blue: N744100
Airbnb Bonus Avios promotion
Airbnb rentals and experiences must be booked through Airbnb.com. You must provide your Executive Club number at the time of booking. Make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser and complete your booking in one session for the offer to register.
Bookings must be completed before June 28, 2022. However, the promotion does not stipulate when the stay must occur.

Our Take
The 1,000 Avios with a 2-night stay at IHG hotels isn't a good bonus — as you typically have to overpay for the qualifying rate — so it wasn't covered in this article. However, 50% bonus Avios with Avis and Airbnb bookings is a great deal, at least for anyone who can make a booking before the deadline of June 28, 2022.
Be sure to check which deals you can get with Avis through other partners, as you might be able to find a better one. However, getting 4.5 Avios with Airbnb rental and experience bookings is probably the best deal you're going to find, as Airbnb has very few earning partners.
