Update: Booking window closed on March 31, 2025. If you booked your flights by this date, you have until January 6, 2026 to complete your travel.

Emirates Skywards members can save 25% on award flights with partner airlines — including United Airlines, Japan Airlines, Qantas, and more — when booked by March 31, 2025. Eligible travel dates extend through January 6, 2026, making this Skywards award discount a great opportunity to lock in lower award rates for upcoming trips.

This automatic discount applies to new bookings on partner-operated flights, and there's no need to route through Dubai to take advantage. For example, you can book a domestic U.S. flight on United for as few as 6,000 miles.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to book, key terms, and maximizing this deal before it expires.

Emirates Skywards Partner Awards Flights 25% Discount

Emirates just launched a program giving Skywards members a discount on awards flights with select partner airlines. Through March 31, 2025, book an economy class awards flight with 25% fewer Skywards miles.

  • GOL Airlines
  • Japan Airlines

Getting this Skywards award discount

The 25% discount is automatically applied to the awards flight price. All Skywards members can apply the discount to any eligible flight, both one-way and round-trip. Taxes, fees, and fuel surcharges are excluded from the discount and must be paid in full. A $10.10 booking fee per flight also applies.

This deal is only valid on economy fares booked by March 31, 2025, and eligible travel dates are through January 6, 2026. This offer is only good on new bookings. However, if your ticket is reissued after March 31, you will still have the 25% discount, although reissue fees may apply.

While this promotion is from Emirates, awards flights with partner airlines do not need to go through Dubai. For example, you can get a 25% discount on all economy class United awards flights booked by March 31.
