Marriott's annual card spending promotion is back, offering Bonvoy members bonus points on co-branded credit card spending. Depending on your offer, you might be able to score up to 6,000 bonus points from spending. But you'll need to register by October 14, 2025 and meet the spending requirement by November 30, 2025.
Here's how this new Marriott cardholder spending bonus works and how to opt in.
Marriott's “Choose Your Offer” Credit Card Spending Bonus
Marriott has offered some sort of credit card spending bonus in each of the past few years. This year, it seems the offer is limited to Chase-issued Marriott Bonvoy cards. Sorry, Amex folks.
To register, go to the promotion landing page, log in with your Marriott Bonvoy credentials, and register your eligible Marriott co-branded card. There, you will see two different offers to choose from. In my case, I have the choice between:
- Spend $1,500 to earn 3,000 bonus points (up to 2x bonus points)
- Spend $2,000 to earn 4,000 bonus points (up to 2x bonus points)
Other offers reported by cardholders include:
- Spend $500 to earn 1,000 bonus points OR spend $750 to earn 2,000 bonus points
- Spend $2,500 to earn 5,000 bonus points OR spend $3,000 to earn 6,000 bonus points
Most of these offers essentially boil down to an extra 2x Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spent, if you just hit the spending threshold. AwardWallet readers typically redeem Marriott Bonvoy® points at 0.93¢. That means you're getting around an extra 1.86% return on your spending. Not incredible, but a solid boost.

Chase card terms and conditions
- Members must register for this promotion before 11:59 pm Eastern Time on October 14, 2025.
- Purchases must post to your account between October 1, 2025 and November 30, 2025 to qualify. Thus, purchases made close to the end of the promotional window might post after November 30 and not be eligible.
- Only Marriott Chase cards issued before June 1, 2025 are eligible.
- Bonus points will post to the member's Bonvoy account within 8–12 weeks after reaching the spending threshold.
- The following payments are ineligible: balance transfers, cash advances, travelers' checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee.
- Eligible cards are those that are active and not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding.
Marriott Co-Branded Card Spending History
In 2022, this promotion gave members 7,500 bonus points on $7,500 of spending — 1 bonus point per $1 spent with a pretty high minimum threshold. And that offer only applied to Marriott Bonvoy cards from American Express.
In 2023, the promotion got a little better with a slightly lower threshold and almost 50% more bonus points, plus the inclusion of Chase cards.
In 2024, Marriott offered both Amex and Chase cardholders 10,000 bonus points for spending a whopping $7,000 in two months. However, cardholders earned 200 bonus points just for registering a card!
Now in 2025, Marriott is only offering this co-branded card spending bonus to select Chase cardholders. While there are no bonus points just for registering, cardholders get to choose the offer that works best for them — and no offers require spending several grand per month.
Our Take
Marriott's back with a new promotion for Chase cardholders to earn bonus points for spending over the next couple of months. And the timing is pretty great as the holidays ramp up. If you're interested, make sure to register by October 14, 2025 and choose the offer that works best for you.
In my case, I'm not particularly swayed by earning an extra 2x Marriott points. I'm still working on a sign-up bonus on The World of Hyatt Credit Card, and we are spending on my wife's AAdvantage® Aviator® Silver Mastercard® to earn Loyalty Points. So, I opted for the lower spending threshold — just in case it makes sense to spend on this card later in the offer period.
If you need more Bonvoy points, check out other Marriott promotions where you can currently earn up to 50,000 bonus points on a single stay. That's going to move the needle a lot more than a few thousand extra points for achieving one of these card spending thresholds.
