Options For North America

In all, we're looking at a mix of economy/business and 25/50% off. Here's the breakdown:

  • Economy – New York (JFK) to Paris (Orly) – 50% (just 11,000 miles one-way)
  • Business – Edmonton to Europe – 50%
  • Business – Calgary to Europe – 25%
  • Economy – Boston to Europe – 25%
  • Economy/Business – Vancouver to Europe – 25%

Other Global Destinations

When it comes to global destinations this month’s Promo Rewards include a mix of discounts from 20% up to 50% across both economy and business class. Premium Economy is the big winner this month with multiple destinations at 50% off including Bangkok and Saint Martin.

How To Work Out The Cost Of Your Award

Flying Blue has developed an award calculator to indicate how many miles the award will cost. The calculator gives the standard pricing for the award, and then you will need to discount the figure by the percentage offered in the Flying Blue promo award. As an example, Paris to Washington with Air France will typically set you back 27,500 miles one-way in Economy. With a promo award discount of 50%, you would need only 13,750 miles for a one-way promo award in Economy!

Following from the changes made to Flying Blue Promo Rewards in June 2018, you now cannot make connections and still benefit from the award, and you cannot use two promo award destinations and benefit from cumulative pricing.

Key Points To Remember

  • Flights need to be booked by August 30, 2018
  • Bookings only valid if made via or; phone bookings are not possible
  • Tickets cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded
