After a huge round of airline shopping portals in November, Southwest has already launched another promotion for December. And it's a simple one. Rapid Rewards members can earn 1,000 bonus points after reaching the spending threshold by December 6, 2025.

As of right now, Southwest is the only airline with a shopping portal promotion this month. But it's possible we could see more offers in the next few days.
Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping portal promotion
This is a concise Cyber Week offer with just one tier. Rapid Rewards members can earn 1,000 bonus points after spending at least $200 on eligible purchases in the Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping portal through December 6, 2025. This amounts to 5X bonus points on your first $200 of eligible spending, which is pretty good.

Key terms and conditions
- This promotion ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 6, 2025.
- Qualifying purchases exclude returns, cancellations, shipping, taxes, gift cards, and certain ineligible products.
- Allow up to 10 weeks after the promotion ends for bonus points/miles to post.
- Purchases are cumulative; you don’t need to reach the spending threshold in one transaction or on a single day.
Our Take
In November, all five airline shopping portals were offering some of the biggest rewards we've seen. Now, Southwest already has another promotion for Cyber Week. Rapid Rewards members can claim an easy 1,000 bonus points after spending $200 in the Rapid Rewards shopping portal by December 6, 2025. That's up to 5X points on top of what you'll otherwise earn!
More airlines will probably release their December shopping portal promotions in the next few days. We will continue to update this article as they come out.
We recommend checking sites like Cashback Monitor to compare portal bonuses to ensure you get the best earning rate on your purchase. Perhaps you're better off earning Amex or Bilt Points through Rakuten and then transferring those points to travel partners. But no matter which shopping portal you use, be sure to use a credit card optimized for online shopping or everyday purchases to further juice your rewards.
