Several business credit cards advertise bonus categories that earn 3X, 4X, or even 5X points. But for many small businesses, a large portion of spending falls outside those bonus categories.
That's where a business card with a strong base earning rate shines. Earning 2X points or miles per dollar on everyday purchases means you'll be rewarded regardless of where your business spends money.
Whether you're looking for premium travel perks, a lower annual fee, or a no-annual-fee option, these are the best business cards that earn 2X points on everyday purchases.

The Best Business Cards for 2X Points on Everyday Purchases
Not every business owner is looking for the same type of card. Some prioritize premium travel perks, while others want to keep costs low with a modest annual fee or no annual fee at all.
The cards below all earn at least 2X points or miles per dollar on everyday purchases, making them excellent options for businesses that want strong rewards on spending that falls outside traditional bonus categories.

- 10X miles per $1 on hotels and rental cars booked via Capital One Business Travel
- 5X miles per $1 on purchases through Capital One Entertainment
- 5X miles per $1 on flights booked via Capital One Business Travel
- 5X miles per $1 on vacation rentals booked via Capital One Business Travel
- 2X miles per $1 on other eligible purchases
The Venture X Business stands out among premium business cards because it combines a strong everyday earning rate with valuable travel benefits. You'll earn 2X Capital One miles on every purchase, plus 5X miles on flights and 10X miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel — that's a lot of miles that can transfer to one of Capital One's 22 travel partners.
While the card does have a $395 annual fee, several credits more than make up for the fee if you use them correctly. For one, there's a $300 annual travel credit, good for any purchase made through the Capital One Travel portal.
You'll also get 10,000 miles each account anniversary, which AwardWallet users redeem on average for 2.04¢ per mile.

Finally, there's access to airport lounges when traveling for business. Capital One Lounges are now available in more airports than ever before, and the card also comes with a Priority Pass membership. However, the pass no longer allows unlimited guests.
For business owners who want premium travel perks without sacrificing rewards on everyday spending, the Venture X Business is one of the strongest options available.

For business owners who want to earn transferable points without paying an annual fee, The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express (Rates & Fees) is hard to beat.
The card earns 2X Membership Rewards points per dollar on the first $50,000 in purchases each calendar year, then 1X point per dollar thereafter. Those points can be transferred to Amex's airline and hotel partners, giving Card Members access to one of the most valuable rewards ecosystems available.
What makes the card especially appealing is its simplicity. There are no bonus categories to track, and you'll earn valuable Membership Rewards points on virtually every business purchase.

But it isn't perfect. It charges foreign transaction fees (Rates & Fees), making it less attractive for businesses that regularly spend outside the United States. And if your business spends significantly more than $50,000 annually in non-bonus categories, one of the unlimited 2X options above may be a better fit.
Still, for business owners seeking a straightforward, no-annual-fee way to earn transferable points on everyday spending, the Blue Business Plus remains one of the strongest options available.
