Radisson Rewards has announced a promotion, where you will receive a 100% bonus on the purchase of Radisson points. Through November 27, 2018, you will receive a 100% bonus on the purchase of a minimum of 1,000 Radisson Rewards points.
Key Terms
- Promotion is valid on purchases through November 27, 2018 at 11:59 pm CST
- Receive a 100% bonus on the purchase of at least 1,000 points
- You can purchase a maximum of 40,000 points per year
- Points should post to your account within 24 hours
Taking full advantage of the promotion would yield a total of 80,000 points (40,000 purchased plus 40,000 bonus) for a total cost of $280. This works out as 0.35 cents apiece.
Maximizing The Promotion
Radisson Rewards does not process the purchase of points directly, instead, they are processed by Points.com. This eliminates any possibility of earning a credit card bonus category. If you do decide to take advantage of this promotion, your best option is to use a credit card optimized for everyday spending.
Our Take
Buying points or miles speculatively is not to be recommended, you are almost always better off holding cash. On the other hand, if you are looking to boost your balance for a specific redemption, then this promotion could be a good value t. Otherwise, you are better off leaving it on the table.

It would be $140 per night for two nights without breakfast in most cases with the maximum 40000 points purchased.
I agree about not buying points unless you are going to be using them right away.
not a great deal for me.
Bonuses are always good if truly need points to utilize ASAP. But if have time, try to earn them another way and especially don’t buy presuming to far out.
I know it’s great for Prague on weekends. The Alcorn is usually $270+tax then off-season or 40K points ($125 and no tax)
Very useful promotion to keep your airmiles from expiring – I’m usually buying 2k points for 7$ and move them when I need to keep some airmiles alive
Exactly! Always good to have a few Radisson points on hand for that purpose.
Sounds like a good bonus!
It’s great to buy a few extra points but I too try to add my points by other means.
Radisson points always come in handy, covering some pretty pricey rooms, when we’re vacationing in Europe, and with a 100% bonus, I’m definitely a buyer.
Radisson rewards points decent in Europe
Easy promotion, thanks for the info!
2K points for $7, reallly?
Never found a use for radisson points, especially to buy them.
I have had trouble trying to use the points I have
Always blacked out at hotels I need in areas I’m going to or there isn’t any of their brand around. One of the most useless hotel points award cards that I have.
Will buy a 1000 points to extend the points from expiring . Haven’t used them for awhile.
I wish Radisson had more of a footprint in the USA.
Good promo.
There are some decent hotels even at the bottom categories (even though much less than a couple of years ago).
Nice deal if you have a reservation you want to make and need some extra points to make it.
Otherwise I stay away from buying points
Nice!! Thank you!! Just getting. Ready to book.
I’ll pass on this one.
Is this is a good value with Radisson? Never really invested much in it
There are some great Radisson hotels, especially in Europe. Unfortunately the free night reward was removed from the credit card years ago. That was a fantastic bonus.
