Capital One QuicksilverOne Benefits
Unlimited 1.5% cash back
There are no restrictions on how much cash back you can earn with the Capital One QuicksilverOne. There also aren't any complicated bonus categories to keep track of. You'll earn an unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase and 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

CreditWise
With the Capital One QuicksilverOne, you'll get free access to CreditWise, a tool that tells you your credit score and how to improve it over time. Capital One will also automatically review your credit score to consider you for credit line increases periodically, which could increase your credit score by improving your utilization rate.

Fraud protection
This card comes with fraud protection benefits, including $0 fraud liability for unauthorized purchases made when your card is lost or stolen. You'll also receive security alerts if Capital One suspects any fraudulent transactions on your credit card account. Virtual card numbers keep your actual card number safe when shopping online, and you can lock your card on the Capital One mobile app if your card is ever lost, stolen, or misplaced.
5% cash back on hotels and rental cars
With the Capital One QuicksilverOne, you can book travel through Capital One Travel while earning an unlimited 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through the portal. You can redeem your cash-back rewards or use your credit card to make travel purchases through the portal.
Capital One QuicksilverOne Earning Rates
The Capital One QuicksilverOne earns 1.5% cash back on every purchase. You'll also earn 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked with Capital One Travel. There's no limit to how much cash back you can earn or restrictions on specific categories, such as groceries or dining.
Additionally, your cash back never expires as long as your account is open.

The positive to this simplified earning structure is that you've got a great credit card for everyday spending. The downside is that other credit cards offer bonus categories in which you could earn at a higher rate, such as supermarkets or drugstores.
Redeeming Rewards With the Capital One QuicksilverOne
You can redeem cash back earned on the Capital One QuicksilverOne as cash, to cover recent purchases, or as gift cards. Cash redemptions are either received as a statement credit or a check in the mail. Statement credits will lower your account balance but don't count toward any minimum payment due. Gift card redemption rates may vary.

Application Restrictions
Even though this card only requires a Fair credit rating, it's important to know about Capital One's application restrictions before applying.
Capital One limits how many of its credit cards you can have at one time. You can have five cards, spread across the different card families (Venture, Quicksilver, and Savor cards) and can include one charge card. Capital One's business credit cards, though not included in the number of personal Capital One cards you can hold simultaneously, are counted differently and also may report to your personal credit report.
Capital One will likely pull your credit score from all three credit bureaus. You can access your credit reports for free each week at AnnualCreditReport.com to see what they look like before applying.
And finally, you won't be approved for more than one Capital One card every six months.
