You'll find the best availability towards the end of the Turkish Airlines bookable schedule, between September and November of 2024, but those aren't the only dates available. Plenty of award seats are for sale throughout December 2023 and well into 2024, but you'll want to act fast since it won't last long.
Using a tool like Seats.aero or United's award search calendar is the easiest way to find available dates. Once you find dates that work for you, you'll have a choice of five programs to book from, making this deal incredibly accessible.
How To Book Turkish Airlines Business Class
Part of what makes this business class availability special is that there are a handful of ways to book it, and you aren't limited to only going through Turkish Miles & Smiles.

The award space is accessible via four other Star Alliance programs as well, making these flights to Istanbul more than accessible no matter the mileage currency (or transferable points) you're working with.
Here's a run-down on each booking method and a snapshot of the pricing you'll find with each program:
Book via Turkish Miles & Smiles
Using Turkish Airlines's own Miles & Smiles to book the business-class award space will give you the best deal at 45,000 miles plus $216 for one-way itineraries — or 90,000 miles plus $470 for round-trip fares.

Patience is key when booking with the program, as it can be difficult to navigate. If you don't already have a Turkish Airlines loyalty account, it's often easiest to sign up with their mobile app and then use the web browser to search.
Book via Air Canada Aeroplan
While not the cheapest option, Air Canada Aeroplan is another angle to book Turkish Airlines award space. You'll pay between 70,000 and 90,000 Aeroplan points plus $60 for one-way itineraries. Pricing will depend on your flight distance.

Book via Avianca LifeMiles
Avianca LifeMiles prices Turkish Airlines awards from 63,000 LifeMiles each way with relatively low taxes and fees. However, your plans should have little chance of changing if you book through LifeMiles, as the program features some of the most restrictive change and cancelation fees — ranging upwards of $200 per ticket.

Book via United MileagePlus
Another comparatively pricey option, United MileagePlus will let you book Turkish business class awards from 88,000 miles one-way or 176,000 MileagePlus miles plus $50 for returns.

While it's more expensive, one of the more unheralded perks of booking via United is the waived redeposit fees for award flights. So, if your plans change, you won't be on the hook for change or cancelation penalties.
Book via ANA Mileage Club
To round out the list, Turkish business-class awards are also bookable via ANA Mileage Club — and the redemption costs are incredibly friendly at 88,000 miles plus $470 round-trip.
But there's a caveat: You can't book one-way awards. All itineraries must be round-trip.
Bottom Line
There's a lot of Turkish Airlines business class award space between the carrier's gateways in the United States and Canada and its hub in Istanbul (IST).
Flights are bookable from just 45,000 miles, which makes this deal nearly too good to be true. As such, you'll want to act fast before the award space dries up.
