Marriott Bonvoy relaunched its Week of Wonders promotion again this year. The offer is only valid through October 13, 2022. However, individual deadlines can vary depending on the chosen “Wonder.” The wide range of promotions should work for a variety of different people and guests. Wonders on offer range from discounted awards to point purchase bonuses and much more.

Marriott Week of Wonders Offers

Marriott is offering 12 wonders during the Marriott Week of Wonders promotion.

Wonders of Adventures

• Earn up to 4,000 bonus points per eligible stay starting with your second stay.
• The offer is valid for stays through December 16, 2022.
• You need to register for the promotion by December 1, 2022.
• Receive 2,000 bonus points per stay starting from your second stay.
• Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card holders receive an additional 2,000 bonus points starting from their second stay.

Wonders of Memories

• Receive 50% off Shutterfly photo books.
• Use code MBPHBOOK2022 to receive your discount.

[Expired] Wonders of Extraordinary

• Use your points to bid on specially curated Marriott Moments events.
• Bid closing on the events varies from October 12, 2022, through November 30, 2022.
• There is a wide range of events on offer, from New Year's Eve in Times Square to sightseeing at the Pyramids.

[Expired] Wonders of Flavor

• Earn 8X points per dollar spent using your linked card.
• The promotion is valid at over 16,000 Eat Around Town by Marriott Bonvoy restaurants.
• The offer is valid for dining out through October 31, 2022.

[Expired] Wonders of Inspiration

• Earn 2X Points and double elite nights per stay at participating Marriott Homes and Villas.
• Bookings must be made by October 15, 2022.
• A stay consists of 5 nights or more.
• The offer is valid for stays through April 30, 2023.
• Bookings must be made through the Homes & Villas by Marriott International website (“HVMI Platform”).

This promotion is similar to the double points offer Marriott ran last month. However, this month the deal is a little harder. This time around the minimum stay is 5 days instead of 3 days.

[Expired] Wonders of Escape

• Receive a 20% discount when booking a standard rate room at participating properties.
• Bookings must be created by October 13, 2022.
• The offer is valid for stays from November 3 through January 16, 2023.

[Expired] Wonders of Exploration

• Earn double points when you book tours and activities.
• Tours must be booked and taken during the promotion week

[Expired] Wonders of More

• Receive a 50% bonus when you purchase at least 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.
• The promotion is valid through 11:59 pm Eastern Time on October 13, 2022.

• Receive a $300 credit when you stay 2 nights or more at participating properties.
• Bookings must be created by October 13, 2022.
• The offer is valid for stays from November 3, 2022, through January 16, 2023.
• The wonder of Luxury promotion is only valid at properties in the US, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
• Only the following brands are participating St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, and EDITION hotels.

Our take

While this promotion has some excellent deals, some are a stretch on Marriott's part. Sure 35% on candles is a great deal, but can it be described as a “Wonder”? On the other hand, some of the discounts on points purchases and award bookings are excellent value.

If you can make them work for you and are willing to commit to a booking during the promotion week, then this promotion arrived just in time. Sadly, with such a short time to plan and book, many people will probably pass on this promotion.
