This Hyatt Points Purchase promotion has ended, however, you can still purchase Hyatt points.
World of Hyatt launched a campaign where you can receive a mystery bonus when purchasing Hyatt points through August 21, 2018. We checked 13 different World of Hyatt accounts and with the exception of one account that was offered a 40% bonus, received an offer for a 30% bonus.

Based on our data, it looks like the majority of accounts are targeted for a 30% bonus — here's what it looks like:
For a total of $1,320, you can pick up 71,500 World of Hyatt points; but at that price does it make sense?
At this price, we're not speculatively buying. World of Hyatt points can easily be picked up with The World Of Hyatt Credit Card (our review), or through a transfer of Ultimate Rewards at a 1:1 ratio if you hold the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, or the Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card.
If you're short points of an award, sure, consider it — but do the math. Remember, World of Hyatt points purchased are processed through points.com, so you won't earn a travel or hotel bonus on the purchase. Make sure to use one of the best credit cards for everyday spend to maximize your rewards earning.
