Starwood recently launched its newest promotion, which lets you earn double points for your stays at SPG properties. The new promotion is being called the SPG double take. This is more good news for SPG fans hot on the heels of the recent announcement by Delta that SPG Platinum members can now enjoy complimentary upgrades to Comfort+.

What is the SPG Double Take?

The new promotion is valid for stays at all Starwood properties without any exceptions; you earn double points on your first 3 stays. The promotion is valid for stays between January 16, 2017, and April 15, 2017.

To be eligible for the promotion you must register with SPG by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on March 15, 2017.

Elite level bonuses and other bonuses do not qualify as part of the base point calculation for the purpose of the double take promotion. According to the promotion’s webpage, the bonus points should post to your SPG account within 2-4 for weeks following your stay. Full terms and conditions of the SPG Double Take promotion and FAQs of the SPG Double Take promotion should be reviewed so you fully understand the promotion.

While this promotion isn't particularly exciting, or creative, we can't really complain about free bonus points.
