The only thing better than transferring credit card reward points to a loyalty program for a nearly free flight or free hotel stay is… well, booking the same award for fewer points thanks to a transfer bonus! By taking advantage of one of these limited-time offers, you'll get more points than you typically would. That means the redemption you want to make will require fewer points.
Wondering which transferable rewards programs are currently running a bonus? Here's the complete list of current transfer bonuses.

All Current Transfer Bonuses
In the table below, you'll find all the current transfer bonuses from American Express, Chase, Capital One, Citi, and beyond. There's a long list of active bonuses right now, which is a pleasant sight to see!
As you can see in the table above, transfer bonuses are generally only around for a limited time and offer a fixed percentage of bonus points or miles for every credit card rewards point you transfer.
Points transferred with a bonus add up quickly, so it's worth paying attention whenever one of these bonuses kicks off. But just because there's a bonus doesn't mean you should transfer all your points to that loyalty program.
When you see a bonus that aligns with points you know you'll redeem, then it makes sense to convert. Otherwise, maybe it's worth waiting for a different transfer bonus to pop up — or transferring to a program where you have an immediate use for the points, even if there's no bonus.

Other Transfer Bonuses
Occasionally, you may notice some transfer bonuses that don't originate from banks or credit card issuers. Instead, these bonuses are offered by hotels on transfers to airline frequent flyer programs or vice versa.
Generally speaking, taking advantage of these types of transfer bonuses won't get you top value for your points. However, these opportunities are worth keeping in mind if you don't have a better way to redeem a stash of points.

Final Thoughts
Transfer bonuses make your points worth more. After moving your points to an eligible loyalty program, you'll earn a little extra on top. When transfer bonuses come around (and if they fit your plans and loyalty program of choice), don't delay. You'll be on your way to your next redemption and will make it happen with fewer of your bank rewards points.
