All of the major chains have something to offer, although some have more to offer than others. Depending on where you're headed, there should be something available for a discount or bonus points on your next stay.

Accor Live Limitless Promotions
- Get 100 bonus points if you work out on a Peloton bike or with the Peloton app during your stay at participating hotels in Australia. There's no end date listed, but it says “for a limited time.”

Best Western Rewards Promotions
- Get up to 15% off during the “Labor Day Sale” using promo code emlrate. Deadlines for booking and stays are unclear.
- [Booking closed] Get 25% off in select Asian countries (with an extra 10% off for Best Western Rewards members) when you book July 17–21 and stay by October 31, 2023.
- Get 5,000 points after every two paid nights — up to 20,000 bonus points total — in numerous regions on stays September 18–November 20, 2023.

Choice Privileges Promotions
- If your stay includes a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday night, you can get perks like bonus points, airline miles, a gift card, and more, thanks to Your Extras.
- Earn 8,000 bonus points after two stays completed by November 6, 2023.
- Pay just $279 for a three-night stay and get a $275 American Express gift card when booking certain properties. Dates vary.
- Get lifetime Gold status if you're military or a military spouse, plus earn 2,500 bonus points after your first stay.
- Choice Sweet Spot Rewards offer discounted award stays. Dates and locations vary.

Hilton Honors Promotions
- Add a free fourth night to your stay when using points at Waldorf Astoria, LXR, and Conrad properties. There's no end date listed in the terms.
- Receive up to $1,0000 in hotel credit with stays of five or more nights, booked at least two weeks in advance, at participating properties in the Caribbean and Mexico.
- Get a Milestone Bonus of 10,000 points after you stay 30 eligible nights in a calendar year, and additional 30,000 points after you stay 60 eligible nights in a calendar year.
- Download and open the app by December 31, 2023 to earn 500 points (targeted offer).
- Get 3x points in some cities and 2x in other locations, valid September 5–December 31, 2023.
- Targeted members can earn 4,000 bonus points on a single stay through December 31, 2023.

IHG One Rewards Promotions
- Stay within six months of hotel opening at new properties in Asia Pacific and get 20% off breakfast-included rates. IHG One Rewards members get an additional 10% off.
- Stay twice within 60 days of being targeted for this promotion, then earn 10,000 bonus points.
- Order out with OpenTable and receive 500 points after your first order and 300 points on subsequent orders.
- Order out with Grubhub and receive 500 points after your first order and 250 points on subsequent orders.
- Book with bonus points and earn up to 5,000 elite-qualifying points at participating hotels.

Marriott Bonvoy Promotions
- New members of Marriott Bonvoy earn 2,500 bonus points after completing their first stay.
- Targeted members can receive double elite night credits on upcoming stays.
- Earn 2,000 bonus points at Courtyard properties in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America through October 10, 2023.
- Through October 20, 2023, get 2,000 bonus points per night at select New York City hotels. You can earn a maximum of 10,000 bonus points with this offer.
- Get 1,500 bonus points per stay between September 12 and December 6, 2023, plus earn 3,000 bonus points for staying at three different Marriott brands during this time. Only stays after registration are valid. Register by November 22.
- Earn 2,000 bonus points on your first weekend stay and 3,000 bonus points (for a total of 5,000) on your second weekend stay. This is a highly targeted offer, running through November 30, 2023.
- Earn double elite night credits if you're targeted for an offer running through November 30, 2023.

Our Take
As you can see, all of the major hotel programs are offering some type of promotion to attract travelers. The best promotions for you will depend on where you're going and which hotel program you're earning points with.
Promotions vary by the number of nights you need to stay, but the range of destinations included should have something for everyone. If you're trying to build up your points or save cash on your next stay, you might as well take advantage of these hotel promotions.

the current Choice hotels 2 stays 8000 promotion does not have a gift card option as far as I can tell. that was the last one and gas cards only.

Very short notice on many of these. It is almost the end of December; 8 days. Some are into January and a couple a little longer. Just does not allow time for most people to plan and get to where they want to go this time of year. So, at this late time, we will just stay home; especially since we do not know what will happen; especially if we go out of the country and cannot get back in.

Despite these promotions, I chose to stay at a Hyatt (Not a new one) for the first part of my current work trip. Their points are so valuable, I’d rather just get their regular point earnings than double points somewhere else. It helped that I had a Visa offer for Hyatt to soften the blow.

I tried booking a Choice Hotel resort before the promotions deadline, but could never get their site to work. Seemed like it would have been a good deal.

For what concerns me, lately it’s hard to reach the minimum requirement for the different promotion as I’m more and more less attached at a particular chain.
They have reduced a lot of benefit and so I see only the price, the location and the quality of the accomodation.

I’m currently booking a stay at a Hampton for 8 nights where I really need to leave on 7 September. The current bonus ends on 6 September. So the question is — will I get the triple points bonus for all the qualifying nights during the promotion and not get the triple bonus for my last night…or will I be ineligible and not get the bonus at all because my checkout date is after the bonus ends?
Like a good points-and-miles enthusiast, I am not taking any chances! I’m checking out on the 6th and my last night in that town will be at the Marriott or Holiday Inn Express next door.
The T&C say: “Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before May 3, 2021 will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after May 3, 2021 and prior to or on September 6, 2021.” So, it seems your stay would not be valid if you checkout on the 7th.

Some decent promos.
Appreciate having a variety of promos to choose from in one place. While I have my preferred chains, hotel prices lately have been crazy high. A combo of price and promos will be guiding my stays, even if they aren’t my usually chains, until prices get back to normal (if they do).
Keep the faith, the prices will return to normal. A whole lot is pushing them up right now, even hitting some records: serious pent-up demand coming out of the pandemic; people willing to spend more because of accumulated savings; and staffing shortages. All of that corrects at some point here.
I was waiting for a good chance to join IHG, now it is a good time for doing so

Good opportunity to pick up some extra points if you’re traveling to these Hotels anyway, but in general it’s not really enough to stimulate fresh demand IMHO….some BOGO or 40-50% off sales would help here….can’t help but think these hotel chains are still struggling with filling up their hotels even with the post pandemic economic boom in most sectors of the economy,
I love that all the promos this summer. I was able to take advantage of several. It was nice to be out and earning again. I was able to get the bonus with the hotels and some savings from Amex.
