Capital One is currently running an increased bonus on the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. New cardmembers can earn 75,000 bonus miles after meeting the minimum spending requirements. This is an outstanding offer on a card that combines super-easy redemption options with high-value transfer partners. In addition, this offer on the Capital One card only charges an $95 annual fee.
The 75,000-mile bonus is worth $750 if you use points to pay yourself back for travel purchases. This is the absolute minimum value you can get from this offer. But, this bonus is potentially worth much more if you transfer miles to Capital One's airline and hotel partners.

Massive 75,000-Mile Welcome Offer
To earn the increased 75,000-mile welcome bonus, you'll need to spend just $4,000 on your card over the first three months.
In the past, minimum spending requirements for increased Capital One Venture offers have been as high as $20K over 12 months. But, this offer requires just $4,000 in three months for a manageable average of $1,333 in monthly spending.
For comparison, the previous offer for this card was 60,000 miles after spending $3,000 in the first three months. With this new offer, you can now earn 15,000 extra miles for just $1,000 additional in spending.
Remember, the sign-up bonus is in addition to the 2X miles you'll earn from everyday purchases. After three months, you should have at least 83,000 miles, which are worth a minimum of $830 towards travel.
Here's a breakdown:
- Earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in the first three months.
- Plus, earn 8,000 miles with 2X miles on everyday purchases.
Earn 2X Points on Every Purchase—Every Day
Most flexible rewards cards typically offer a range of bonus categories but only earn a single point per dollar on non-bonus spending. With the Capital One Venture card, you'll earn 2X miles for every dollar spent on all purchases in every category. The card's only additional bonus category is 5X miles on hotel and car rental purchases made through Capital One Travel.
You can potentially earn more points using other cards that earn more than 2X points on select categories. But, the Capital One Venture offers a simple way of building a substantial balance of rewards on everyday spending without the need to organize an entire portfolio of cards.
When you factor in that most airline partners transfer at a 1:1 ratio, you are effectively getting 2X airline miles on every purchase!
Redeem Capital Miles for a Fixed-Value or Transfer to Travel Partners
Miles earned with your Capital One Venture give you the ultimate flexibility to redeem your rewards for travel.
You can redeem miles for almost any travel expense via a statement credit. Simply pay with your Capital One Venture card. Then, you have up to 90 days from the date of purchase to redeem miles towards the purchase at a value of 1 cent per point.
Or, you could transfer Capital One miles to airline and hotel partners to get even better returns. Transferring miles directly to a hotel or airline loyalty program means you can take advantage of any sweet spots within that specific program. With Capital One, you get to have the flexibility of both fixed-value redemptions or transferable rewards.

Can you apply if you already have Venture X?
Hi Mike, there is no restriction on holding both Venture X and Venture, but I don’t think you can have more than two “Venture” branded cards. Also, Capital One will generally approve just one new application in six months, so you’d need to wait at least that long from the time you applied for Venture X.
