Lufthansa Miles & More recently announced status program changes effective January 1, 2024. Just like its U.S. counterparts, Lufthansa claims to simplify the existing program for members as a result of these changes. However, unlike in the U.S., Lufthansa's new earning structure does not depend entirely on spending. Instead, only class of cabin and continental versus intercontinental route flown matter for earning status points. Here's how it works.
