DoorDash Mastercard Welcome Offer
New DoorDash Mastercard cardholders will get a free year of DashPass ($96 value) when you are approved for the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard. One authorized user on your card can also receive the complimentary DashPass membership from this offer. After the first 12 months, the primary cardholder and any authorized users will automatically be enrolled in DashPass (currently $96 per year) until canceled.
You can retain a complimentary DashPass membership each year after you spend at least $10,000 on your card after your card's anniversary. DashPass offers $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on every eligible order.
However, it's worth pointing out that multiple Chase credit cards are offering complimentary DashPass memberships, so long as you enroll by December 31, 2027. Depending on which card you have, you could get up to a year of free DashPass; that means there's more than one path to complimentary DashPass right now.

Redeeming Rewards With the DoorDash Mastercard
Rewards are earned as cash back. Cash back is available at the end of each statement cycle and does not expire as long as your account is open. You can view your cash back rewards on doordash.com, the doordash app, trycaviar.com, at chase.com, or through the Chase mobile app.
Cash back can be redeemed for DoorDash and Caviar orders, a statement credit, or gift cards. You also have the option of redeeming as a direct deposit into your checking or savings account. There's no minimum balance required to redeem your cash back.
Application Restrictions
The most important restriction to be aware of before applying for the DoorDash Mastercard is Chase's 5/24 rule. Chase will not approve you for a new card if you've opened more than five cards from any issuer in the last 24 months, based on what's showing on your credit report. If you're not sure how many new cards you've opened in the last two years, here's how to find out for free.
Also, Chase will not approve you for more than two of its credit cards in 30 days.

Final Thoughts
The DoorDash Mastercard is an especially rewarding credit card to use with DoorDash and Caviar orders. If you value convenience and delivery, this might be the card for you. Plus, if you prefer the simplicity of cash back, you could find yourself with a good amount of savings throughout the year. However, the requirement to spend $10,000 to earn a $96-per-year DashPass membership is an imbalanced requirement, missing the mark with the key audience for this credit card.
If you're happy with this card's offerings, it could be a good way to earn cash back, but make sure you know its limitations and your options with other cards before applying.
- 4% cash back on DoorDash and Caviar orders (on every type of DoorDash order, including restaurants, groceries, pet supplies, retail items, and more)
- 3% cash back on dining when purchased directly from a restaurant
- 2% cash back on purchases from grocery stores, online or in person
- 1% cash back on all other purchases
